I woke up to the smell of pancakes and felt so warm inside. Here I was the start of 1979.  January 1st.

I got up out of Max bed and put on one of his dress shirts in an attempt to be cute.

What was I thinking?

I walked down the stairs in just his dress shirt.  I got to the end of the stairs looking around at the beautiful artwork around me.

Max smiled "So you decided to wear my shirt then?"

"Maybe" I replied with trying not to laugh.

"So how would you feel about going to an artshow?" Max asked

"I'd love to I haven't  been to one since I was about three or so I remember the lady up the street of my California childhood home before I moved to Massachusetts.

She took me to a beautiful art show in Santa Monica. That women Norma Jeane was like a second mother to me. When she died I was sad for months then my mother made us move to Zanarkand, Masachusetts. " I replied with a fearful look of opening up.

"That must've been really hard for you then huh?" Max has said

"It was." I held back my silent tears. But I tried keeping in the pain.

We ate and then I got dressed we were going to be going to a local art show in Oslo.

I was sort of happy Max was wanting to spend time with me. We got out of the car and went inside the gallery. Max and I were admiring a Van Gogh painting. That's when I heard a voice behind me.

"Jude? Is that you?"

Shocked and startled.
