"Why." I asked, my voice trembling slightly.

"Why what?" He answered, the corner of his full lips pulling up into a smirk.

"All my life you were there. Watching my every move. Haunting my dreams. I can't even go anywhere without seeing your shadow following me, so all I want to know is why. Why me?!" I seethed. My voice raising slightly with each word.

The monster chuckled, smiling fully now. He slowly started to walk towards me, pressing my small body against the wall.

"Why?" He mocked. Raising his arms, the monster placed them on either side of my head. Trapping me.

"The reason, my darling Amber is quite simple" He leaned in close.

His lips softly brushed my ear as he whispered huskily, "I am your very own personal demon."

Lifting his head, his glowing green eyes bore into mine. "And you can never get rid of me."
