Two:
'Are you seriously doing that?'
Ever heard of that one before? Well, yes you have.
Why do people want to put doubt in a person's head before they can even give it a try? The answer to that is simple...
1. They either believe that it's risky because they wouldn't try it.
2. Or they don't want you to try it because they're afraid that you're going to become something great. So, the choice is yours...Believe that you can do what you've put your mind to and you will soar to greater heights OR give up on it and watch somebody else do it for you.
When someone is trying to prosper and try new things, encourage them, instead of putting doubt in their heads.
A wise person once said : 'It's better to try, and fail, than never to have tried at all'.
Of course, if you're genuinely worried that something could go wrong with the plan they chose, then help them find other ways of doing it.
Having doubt for every single thing is the devils way to live. He (Satan) loves when people are put in doubt because they start to over think and eventually lose sight of their goal, which in turn makes them go crazy, and do irresponsible things.
Eg: If a person wants to start a business of some sort, but somebody is like 'do you seriously think that would make you rich?'
Automatically your mind gets confused, because you suddenly question whether or not it is really what you want to do.
Then, not knowing what to do, makes you think up other ideas, and while you're on it, you're stressed and try to find ways to relieve that stress...which in turn makes you turn to music or over eating or something that's going to do more harm to you than good.So next time you are looking forward to trying something, go for it. Don't let the fools pit doubt in your head.
Imagine if the man that created the doorbell listened to someone who told him that using the hand to knock is so natural, why would anybody want to spend money on a doorbell? He would never have seen his victory of creating something new, something different.
Ponder over it...
