Five:

'What is wrong with you?' OR 'There's something wrong with you!'

Every parent is probably nodding their head when they're reading this because they're guilty of this.

Firstly, how can you put that question forward to anybody? Or make that comment to somebody?
It is the most degrading question/comment to a person.

Imagine your children grow up with that question on their mind...They will forever question what is wrong with themselves. If anybody puts them down,,they will think...
'Oh yes my mother, or my father always thought that there was something wrong with me, so maybe the person is right in degrading me'. And yes they will accept it as their fault. They will always feel inadequate.

Have you ever thought about how the person would react to such a question or comment? Yes? No?

Usually though, if a person is angry enough, they would retaliate by saying that there's something wrong with you and nothing wrong with them.
OR
They shall say, 'Yes there's something wrong with me'.

Both ways show that the person took offense...because they sound disturbed.

Now why would anybody want to spend their lives with somebody who is degrading them? They wouldn't right?

Then people wonder why other people around them are drifting away, becoming strangers instead of friends.

It's the words that you speak that would determine how many friends or foes you are left with at the end of the day.

Speak a kind word, for a kind word never did hurt anybody.

Ponder over it...
