Luna's Story

chapter 2

I woke up a little later than usual today. It seems normal today but my parents seemed to be to cheery today, but i did wake up later so they are probably wanting something. 

"Nothings wrong, if you are wondering."

"ok, here is your breakfats" she handed me a plate of pancakes

"thank you mom"

She smiled as a response. My mom made awesome pancakes, i would eat them all day. If she would let me...............

"ok, finished"

"did you like them?"

"yes.....can i go to the park dad?"

He was reading the paper while having some coffee, i never tasted coffee and every time is ask he says no.But maybe on day he will let me.

"sure, i might come early today, ok"

"ok"

I loved it when he came with me to the park, he always pushed me higher than the other kids and he would spin the tire swing faster. I loved him so much.

"thank you, i am going to go change now"

I ran to my room and got changed as fast as i could. I slipped on my sneakers and yelled bye to my parents. When i got to the park there were less kids than usual, but thats a smaller line i have to wait on. After i went on the slide a couple of times, i see my dad and mom. My mom usually doesnt come, but when she does everything is even more fun. They say hi to all the parents, they give each other a weird smile. 

"is anything wrong?"

"of course not, now go play"

i ran off to play with my friend. We went to the sandbox to make castles where a dragon keeps a princcess, then we went to play on the spider web. The spider web is like a half circle but is made of bars. We were playing for about a hour and a half when we suddenly heard something rumble. We both ran to our parents, holding them tight so nothing will happen to us.

"Im scared"

"we know"

My parents had a fake smile and a blank stare. I have never seen them like this, and i want to know what is going on. All the parents stare at eachother, then we all run back home. We get home in about one minute, and as soon as we walk in my parents start to get some of there favorite stuff out from there room and closet. I tried to ask them what was going on but they ignored me and continued at there fast pace. They put everything is a machine that was atleast six feet. They told me to change into something comfortable, so i put on sweat pants, a t-shirt, sweater and my sandals. They threw in my favorite pair of sneakers then closed the machine. They ran over to me....

"remember that we love so much"

I was so confused but then i noticed what the machine was. It was a common made rocket that people were sent in. I immediately started crying and shouting

"NO, PLEASE.....WHAT DID I EVER DO, I W-WANT TO BE HERE WITH YOU"

My mom was crying as hard as i was and my dad was tearing. He never teared so i knew that it was serious.

"we are sorry but we have to"

when my dad told me that i sunk to the floor and started crying even harder. The rumbling got louder and you heard people screaming, yelling at there children saying 'go before they re-check you.' I knew exactly what that meant. And was scared that someone would want to kill innocent children, and one of them could be me.

"come, come"

my dad was trying to ease me but it didnt help so much. I got up and my mom and dad were putting me in the rocket. My dad kissed my forehead and said..

"Im sorry i couldnt always be there"

"BUT YOU PROMISED"

He started to fully cry. Then my mom came..

"remember that you are the one, you are that special one. you cant forget that ok"

"ok"

I swore that i would never forget it, even though i didnt know what she meant. They closed it then the rocket started to launch.

"WAIT, NO PLEASE"

I know they could hear me because they started to cry harder than before. I could read there lips saying i love you. Then they were out of sight...........

I have been crying for 2 weeks, the rocket landed somewhere yesterday. It was blank, it was all white and I deceided that i was going to live here. I stopped crying, but i was stil sad. I started roaming around then 

"THERE STUFF"

i ran back to the rocket and went to the back. there wasnt much but it was all there precious and favorite stuff. It was neatly put here so i could easily see everything. I cried at the memory of my parents, but i was able to comfort myself with a picture of them. I see this book just sitting there..

"whats this"

There was a note on it that said to read one chapter each day, the book had no name and no author. It was kind of suspicious but I wanted to read it, so i opened the book and began to read...
