scavaging for junk

I have been walking Northwest for hours now, no weapons, no food, and silence. I found a elementary school in a town. Now I'm just questioning if it's abandoned. I spot a safe and silently walk to it and break into it. Inside I find a silenced pistol and ammo for it. I decide to risk my life and I enter the school.when I got inside I was surprised to hear talking, but it was getting closer. I took action by hiding and took out my silenced pistol. As they were walking by I notice one of them is carrying a knife. I go after him and I punch him in the back of the head. Then I take his knife and kill him while he's unconscious.i found a survivor and he asked to join me on my adventures. I agreed and he grabbed some weapons he hid and we booked it. He handed me a 10 mm sub machine gun and told me of a place of treasures. I told him I would think about it. He said," by the way my name is Chad." I said," nice to meet you I'm undead." Chad replied," is that your real name?" I pretended not to hear him and keep walking so that he'll ketchup(lol get it ketch up he he like catch up but saying the condiment). After a while of walking Chad asks," so.. where did you come from?" I walked to a bench and sat there and replied," I didn't come from anywhere,I just started existing." I look at my pip-boy and look at notes I have stored."we need to head south."I said to Chad as he looked that direction. When he looked back to where I was sitting I was already a few miles away from him and he started running after me.
