chapter 10

it has been a year since gray asked me to be his girlfriend. today marks 1 year of happiness with one of my best friends. we had made plans to go somewhere, i wasn't sure where to but i was hella excited. i saw a notif pop up on my phone from grayson on instagram.
"graysondolan tagged you in a photo"
i looked at the picture. all of the comments that everyone out were so sweet. no one made any rude or negative comments which i was happy about. i read the caption.
"so your 20 and so am i. we met when we were 19. i knocked over your ink drink on you at starbucks. yeah i know, im clumsy. i thought you were just some other person in the world i would never see again. little did i know, you were gonna become the love of my life the following year. through our ups and downs, i know you will always have my back. thank you for coming on this amazing journey with me this year. you are my sunshine and you make everything better in life. you are beautiful, intelligent, witty, caring and i love you endlessly. thanks for the best year ever!💗❤️💗💓💞😍" i could feel tears swelling up in my eyes a little bit. i laughed a little bit. the comments were building up on his post.
"AWW"
"SO CUTE. GET MARRIED PLEASE!"
"ahhh omggg!!!"
"mom and dad" ellie commented on his post. that made me die of laughter.
i got ready and put on a white off the shoulder romper with a pair of brown booties. gray was knocking at the door. i opened it to him looking me up and down with a smile on his face.
"you are beautiful." he said picking me up spinning me around.
"aw, your cute." i said kissing him passionately.
"okay, let's goooo!"
we had finally got to the place. i got out of the car and immediately looked at grayson in shock.
"oh my god. this is where you asked me to be your girlfriend." i said with my hands on my mouth.
"yep, a year ago today. so, i asked you something this exact day last year. we have been through so much together. i promised you that we would get married. have a family of our own and grow old. i promise to keep you safe in my arms and i will never let you down. i promise that one day, hopefully soon, that we can be together. i promise you." he pulled out a box and opened it and i saw an infinity ring that goes to add on to my other ring he gave to me last year. he slid it onto my right ring finger.
"you are too much oh my." i said looking at the ring that was gold engraved with the word "one day" on the back of it. i cried a little knowing that one day he would be mine.
"your worth everything. i mean it."
the night went on as we went out to dinner and celebrated.

hey there! so this was making me tear up a bit because i realized that i am hella lonely.
