Sadie's p.o.v

"I GOT THE LETTER!!!" I screamed at my best friend, Amber.

I open the envelope and start to read the letter aloud.

"Dear Sadie Scott, you..." I read with loads of excitement.

"...didn't get accepted." I finish, my expression falling with every word.

"It's ok Sadie, you'll get accepted to at least one college!" Amber consoles me.

"No I won't Amber! I'm a failure! I'll never get into a good college or a get a good job! I fail at life!"

I exclaim while tears come streaming down my face.

"Sadie Sabrina Scott! You do not fail at life! If you did, you wouldn't have me as your best friend! But I am here, and therefore, you are not a failure!"

I laugh. She always makes me feel better by turning my problem, into how great she is.

At this point, you are probably like:

What in the world is goin' on here?!?!?!?

Well, I'm Sadie Sabrina Scott if you haven't guessed already. I pretty much am a total failure. I've already finished high school a year ago, and have been trying to get into a good college. I've applied to like EVERY good college I could find that I might have some chance at getting into. So far...

Fail

Fail

Fail

Fail

Fail

And surprise, surprise,

FAIL.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe I'm just made to fail. I don't know, but it absolutely stinks.

"Sadie, you might still be able to get a job that interests you, and pays well!" Amber exclaims as she looks at something on the screen of her laptop.

"And what might that be?" I ask, kinda afraid to know.

"Well, why don't you see for yourself!" She happily says as she hands me her laptop.
