You!

...

"Can I have your number?"

I was looking at him with a blank look, shocked inside. This is the first time that a guy asks me for my phone number.

Should I give it to him?

I felt my cheeks getting red and betraying me. I nodded at him, blushing.

A grin appeared on his face, he took out his phone and held it out to start typing.

What am I doing? I don't think I should have done this. Well, it's just a phone number, not my secret weapon.

"Its... ###-###-####."

"Thanks." He smiled.

I smiled back then walked back to Mollie.

"What was that?" She asked me giggling when we walked away from earshot.

"Nothing." I tried not to blush.

"Yeah, right. I'm just going to pretend that I didn't hear you give your phone number to that guy." She said.

OMG! She heard everything...

I couldn't help it and blushed again.

I see from the corners of my eyes... a shaking Mollie, waiting patiently for the best scene of the movie to show up. We are watching The Matrix.

"Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You are a plague and we are the cure." I imitate Mr. Smith's phrase in my best way possible.

"Mmm... Good imitation. You should do castings for voice overs." She said stealing a chip from my Lays bag.

I got silence thinking of her suggestion. Well, my voice ain't bad. But does it really qualifies for those V/O castings?

I took a Lay into my mouth and kept on watching The Matrix.

Veronica arrived in the exactly minute when I was about to put Mean Girls into the DVD player.

"I'm home!" She sang from the first floor of the house.

A two-story house. Veronica bought it with her savings of 5 years. It was not easy, believe me!

I can proudly say that my sister is a woman to be admired. She has learned from her downs, bad experiences, and sufferings to overcome herself. She has taught me many things which I am graceful for.

She is part of this strong girl that I am now.

Me and Mollie raced each other the stairs down to Veronica. We couldn't believe what we saw when we got to the bottom of the stairs.

Veronica grinned (a proud and enthusiastic grin) while having her two arms full of shopping bags. Immediately, I got contagious with her grin. I was grinning so much that I almost felt tears appearing in the corners of my eyes.
