Best Friends

Back Home: Part 1

We are now landing at LAX. We would like to thank you for flying with us and we hope to see you in the future.

Finally! I've been itching to go home since forever! It's been two years since I left for Miami. I missed my family and friends, so I made the big decision of moving back home. I also transferred schools, because I don't plan on going back.

Once I got off my flight I immediately went to go get my baggage. Before I came back to California I tried calling Justin to get back in contact with him. When I first left we called each other every single day. Eventually we started calling each other less. It went from FaceTime to calls, and calls to texts. I really wish we had kept in touch, but I didn't want to seem clingy. Plus, it was already hard for me keeping up with school, work and my social life.

I called my parents to come pick me up. Once I got home I went straight to my room. I was super jet lagged. I decided to sleep for the rest of the night, hoping that I would easily get used to Californias time zone again.

*Next Day*
When I woke up I was starving. I woke up at nine, which wasn't that bad. Everyone was gone already, trying to beat that LA traffic. Since I had no responsibilities yet, I decided to go to Venice beach. I felt like doing a little bit of shopping, plus I could get something for breakfast.

Once I got to Venice beach I went straight to Bonnie's for some breakfast. They had the best homemade waffles and fresh juice. After I finished eating and paid I decided to take a stroll. I stopped to watch some performers, and even tipped some. I got tired of walking, so I decided to relax on the beach. I got my towel out and took my cover up off, so I was just in my bikini.

After a while of relaxing I decided to get up. The sun was starting to make me fall asleep. I checked my phone and it was already around two. I was getting kind of bored, so I decided to call someone. I thought to call Justin again, but I doubt he would answer. So instead I called Ryan. Right away he answered. "Hey Cailin! What's up? How's Florida? We haven't talked in forever!" I laughed. Ryan lived to ask questions. "I wouldn't know...I'm back home!" I smiled from excitement. Hearing his voice made me want to visit him right now. "Seriously? Since when? Why didn't you call?" I could tell from his voice he was also excited. "Well I tried calling Justin but he didn't answer, so I didn't think you would." I wondered if he would tell me why Justin didn't answer. "We should hang out tonight! I know this awesome club we could go to if you are up for it." I smirked. "You know I'm down. What time?" I started to pack my things. If we were going out, then I wanted to make sure I had enough time to find a new outfit and get ready.
