He's Got A Crush

"Hey Justin!" I caught up to him in the hallway. "Hey shawty, what's up?" He smiled and wrapped his arms around me. "I was thinking we could go to the drive-in after school?" I looked up at him. "Yeah sure, did you tell the gang?" I unlocked my locker and put a few things in. I looked at him leaning against the lockers and bit my lip. Sometimes I think this boy could be one of those shirtless models. "Nah, not yet. I didn't think about it until last period. Maybe we should just watch movies at home." I got my book and put it in my bag, locking my locker after. We went to my car and got in. Justin and I carpool. When we were little our parents would do it, so it's sort of a habit. "Where to, Mr.Drew?" He chuckled as I drove off from school. I always called him that when we were little. Our parents knew eachother from church, and they would always make play dates for us. And that's how we became bestfriends. "Hey Lin, can I ask you something?' I glanced over at him. "Yeah, anything." I lightly smiled then focused on the road again. "So I like this girl-" My eyes nearly popped out of my head. "Omg really?! Who?! Do I know her?!-""I'll tell you when we get to my place." I nodded and drove faster. I couldn't wait to find out. I pulled into his driveway and parked. We raided the kitchen then went up to his room.

"Will you tell me now?!" I sat next to him on his bed and put my head on his chest, laying down. "I guess..." I squealed and focused all my attention on him. "She's really pretty...I love her personality, laugh, smile...she's super fun to be around...she loves to help people in need...just everything. She's perfect. The only thing is that she doesn't think she is. But she's 100% real. She's flawless," He happily sighed and smiled. Whoever this girl was, he was falling for her hard. I do have to admit, I did feel a little speck of jealousy when he was describing her. "Who's the mystery girl?" I looked up at him. "Her name is Catalina...Rogers." He hesitated and sat up against his bed's headboard. Why did he hesitate? "Aw, my little Justy finally has a crush!" I sat on his lap, facing him. I pinched his cheeks and giggled. "You should tell her how you feel! She might just like you back!" I wiggled my eyebrows at him and he chuckled. "It's not that easy, though. She likes someone else." The sparkle in his eyes went away. "What?! She's crazy! Who wouldn't like you? You got the looks, obviously," He lightly smiled. "You're smart, witty, fun...everything a girl would want." I caressed his face and smiled. "Now let's eat!" I slid off of his lap and reached for the bag of snacks on the floor, but it was to far. I reached for it again and started to fall. I yelped and feel on my face. "Oh my gosh Cailin are you okay?" Justin was dying laughing. I groaned and grabbed the snacks, standing up. "Ha Ha...very funny." I turned around and his eyes widened. "What?" I walked over to his mirror and my nose was swollen.
