Natalia's POV
Mom- TALIA! GET UP FOR SCHOOL!!!!
The second she said that, my world shattered. It was time to finish the rest of senior year, but I wasn't ready. The more and more I thought about it, the more scared I felt. Instead of letting it overcome me, I dragged my self out of bed and got ready for the day.
30 mins later- In the kitchen
Mom- "Well you finally made down stairs, I thought I was gonna have to send a search party out for you."
Me- "Not really in the mood mom."
Mom- "Look, I knew you had a bad 1st semester. But you know what you have to do? Dust your self off and grab the bull by the horns. This semester will be great!"
Says the person who isn't trying to hide bruises I thought to myself. I zoned out until I realized she had asked me a question. " Huh?"
Mom- "I said did you finish that essay?"
Me- "Oh, yea I did."
I looked over at the at the clock and realized I had to go to jail. Or school. " Mom, I gotta go, see ya later."
Mom- Alright, remeber what I said.
I rolled my eyes as I grabbed my car keys and headed out the door.
