"Dinner time..." My mom called me. "Timmothy, the lights are out, the windows are closed, the doors are locked, you can come down now." They have to get ready for me. My mother is the only one that cares, the others would probably hand me right over to the Population Police if I was a second child... But then they'd love me, because I wasn't a third. I have two sisters, Leaf and Magic. My dad would give children of his special names, but not me. I get a regular name.
My mother stared at me. My dad gave an angry look at me. Leaf and Magic watched with sympathy and worry, then I couldn't help it.... The suspense was killing me! "Why are you all gazing at me like that?!" My mother glanced on the ground, and my father as if he was urging to do this practically growled at me. "Never do you understand, ever, look out the window." I couldn't believe this... What was going on? My mother as if she had just finished reading my thoughts, with sympathy added "A third child was spotted, Monday morning." I couldn't understand... They think it was me! "But..... It wasn't me!" Mom gulped "It was spotted right around here, two children in a yard were playing near there house." She looked over to Leaf and Magic. "And out of the same house they were playing with, a child, was gazing out the window". My dad stared angrily. "Why didn't we give her away in the first place?" He snapped. "She will cause us trouble!". I could not believe he said that to my face... I had just lost my appetite and it seemed like everyone else did too. It was obvious Dinner had just been finished and my parents were about to start a fight.
