Rian's Point of View:
"Watch out losers!" I shouted, trying to maneuver my my way through group of boys in my way. I managed to get around all of them, turning around to stick out my tongue.
And I ended up ramming right into something. Or, rather, someone. I flew off my skateboard and skidded roughly across the pavement. I groaned loudly, propping myself up on my now skinned elbows. I looked over at the boy I had rammed into. I couldn't see his face cause he was lying on his back, trying to catch some air.
"Hey!" I called to him, wincing in pain as I lifted myself off the road, "You alright?"
He lifted his head, looking dazed. It was obvious he was older than me, sixteen or seventeen if I had to guess. He had brown curls and even darker brown eyes to match his golden skin. He managed to crack a grin. "I'm okay, I'm okay," he coughed, wincing as he sat up.
"Well look who it is!" A voice cooed, "Rian Fabrics! How you doin', babe?"
I flipped around, staring over the boys. Great. The Greep Gang. Of all the people I could've ran into. "Hey assholes," I called, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Still a feisty little bitch, I see," the leader, Grey, snickered. I rolled my eyes, flipping them the bird before turning my attention back to the boy. He was still sitting on the ground with that same dazed look. I chuckled a little. I walked over to him, pain flooding through me. I knew I had taken a bad fall, but I could handle it. I've definitely had worse.
"You need some help there?" I asked, giving him a warm smile, "I mean, unless you're part of that gang back there."
"No," He responded, "I mean, yes. Yes, I'd like some of your help, but no, I'm not part of that, err, gang."
I grinned, offering him my hands and pulling him up. "Then I guess you should come with me so we can get cleaned up," I suggested, noticing that he was clutching his stomach.
"Yea, I'd appreciate that," he told me with a cheeky grin.
"Hey Ri! Where ya going babe? You just got here!" Grey hollered, causing his pack to go mad with weird, random noises. I turned to them, nearly falling over as my legs were terribly sore.
"I would love to stay and chat, but I'm afraid I don't talk man whores," I said, pulling on an innocent smile. I then managed to gather up my skateboard and motioned for the boy to follow me. "Move quick," I whispered, "Those creeps are gonna follow us. My friend lives two houses away from where we are-" I gestured to the large blue house that belonged to Calum "-think you can make it?"
"Yea," he whispered back, unclenching his stomach, but gritting his teeth, "Do we have to run?"
I nodded, gripping onto his sweatshirt. "Try not to fall. One... Two... Three!" We took off, running as fast as we could. I could hear the gang behind us, like a hoard of bulls. Somehow, through pain and desperation, we made it to Calum's front door before them. I pounded on the door like crazy, the footsteps behind me getting closer. The door swung open so quickly that both I and the boy fell in, both groaning. I heard the door slam shut again.
"Cake?" My best friend asked, "What the hell happened to you?"
"Greep Gang," I muttered, trying to pick myself up. Calum helped me up and I smiled at him. "Thanks Sugar Lips."
He chuckled with a small smirk. "Why don't you go take a shower and get cleaned up? I'll take care of those losers if they figure out it's just us two here."
"And him," I said, gesturing to the boy who was still laying with his face planted into the ground, "I kinda rammed him with my skateboard. Mind helping him get cleaned up?"
"Yea, you've left many pairs of sweatpants from all those times you've slept over. You're always welcome to my shirts. Just go to my room when you're done, I'll be helping him in the kitchen."
I gave another nod before I limped off to the bathroom. I locked the door before turning on a warm shower and peeling off my clothes. When I stepped in, I hissed as the water hit my wounds, but soon became used to it. I then began to wash myself as well as clean my wounds. Once all was done, I grabbed a fluffy white towel from the cabinet and wrapped it around my body. I opened the bathroom door and peeked out. When I was sure the boys were still in the kitchen, I grabbed my clothes and rushed upstairs to Calum's room. Once I was there, I shut and locked the door before dropping the towel. I slipped back into my panties before digging out a pair of gray sweatpants I'd left here and a black band tee that belonged to Calum. It was an All Time Low shirt and it was obviously too big for me, but I didn't care. I slipped the rest of my clothes into his hamper before flicking on his blow dryer and drying my hair. Once it was dry, I pulled it up into a messy bun before running back downstairs.
In the kitchen, Calum and the boy were laughing. I leaned up against the door frame and smiled. "Hey boys," I called, startling them both.
"Don't do that!" Calum scolded, putting a hand over his heart. I giggled, taking my place next to them.
"You boys are getting along well," I observed, now leaning up against the fridge.
"Actually, I know Ashton. He's a friend," Calum explained.
"Oh, well, nice to meet you Ashton. Sorry for ramming you with my skateboard," I said, holding out my hand.
"You too, Rian," he said. I hadn't told him my name, so Claim probably had, "its all perfect okay."
We talked for a little, getting to know each other, until all of our phones went off simultaneously. I picked my up and read over a tweet from Layla about a sleep over party tonight at her house.
"There's a sleep over tonight at Luke and Layla's tonight," I announced.
"I got that too!" Calum and Ashton said in unison.
I giggled a little. "Well, I guess I know what we're doing tonight!" I said and they both grinned.
Tonight was going to be a blast.
