Raven's POV

My eyes flutter open to the familiar ceiling of my dorm room, which I share with my 2 roomates/best friends.

I check my clock by my bed and see that it's 7:40. 20 minutes until class begins. I thought I put an alarm on that stupid clock!

But then I realize, that today is Thursday. Oh shit! I'm going to be late for work!

I quickly grab one of my white hoodies from my suitcase, my red skinny jeans, and one of my scarfs that is blood red with lace roses printed on it, and I attempt to change as quickly and quietly as possible. But I end up tripping over my own feet putting my jeans on.

Thankfully, I didn't wake Laurel or Mali up, so I wrap my scarf around my neck and run out the door, grabbing my death scythe before I go.

Most Grim Reaper's death scythes are usually gardening tools, except for mine and Grell's. Grell owns a large, red chainsaw, whereas I have something simple; a kitchen knife.

Jeff has more than once accused me of stealing his idea for a weapon, and I always tell him that if he wanted to call it first, he should have been a serial long before our time.

When I was young, I had to choose between becoming either a Grim Reaper, or a serial killer, since both my parents were something different from eachother.

Of coarse I chose Grim Reaper, I hate killing people. But what I hate more is cleaning up after Jeff after he kills people. Now we got him to only kill people who we tell him are on the "to die" list.

Every Thursday, Grell and I are required to work a full day since we can't everyday because we have school, so we get to miss classes once a week. Jeff also does his killing on Thursdays, so that we can mostly stay together and make sure he's not killing anyone we didn't tell him he could.

I run through the empty halls of the school, until I see Mr. Michaelis. Just who I was looking for.

I start walking towards him, but then I get a mini heart attack when I see Ciel is with him, obviously deep in conversation with eachother.

Ciel's eyes are the deepest of blue I've ever seen in my life. Although, I really wouldn't know what if his other eye is a different color or not because of the eyepatch he always wears over it.

His hair is always perfectly groomed, and his clothes never have any wrinkles in them. How, exactly, can he manage to be so perfect?

I'll never have a chance with him. I'm way too outgoing and he's too... not. I think Mali would have a better chance with him.

However, that doesn't stop me from having these ridiculous feelings for him.

"Mr. Michaelis?" I address him, interrupting their conversation.

Ciel gives me an annoyed look but doesn't say anything.

"Yes, what is it?" Mr. Michaelis says.

I tell him briefly that I'll be missing classes every Thursday from now on, and he says that's fine and I dismiss myself.

I run to Grell's room and knock on the door. I know for a fact that he did not sleep in, he's definetially awake. He wakes up early every morning to do his hair and makeup and all that weird stuff.

It isn't Grell who opens the door, but Mali's brother, Gilbert. He must be Grell's roomate.

The poor bastard.

"Oh, hi there. You are very welcome for being in my awesome presence. Anyways, your my sister's friend, aren't you?" He says, his voice thick with a german accent. I find his selfishness really amusing, but only because his accent makes it hilarious to my ears.
