Picture Of Melissa's parents... er imagine them older ->

Chapter 1-

Running as fast as I could through the forests of Wyoming, I followed a pull towards something. I've always done what I wanted without thinking of the consequences, eventually it might get me killed but who cares, call me the reckless wolf. You see I don't want to follow my father's footsteps and be forced to marry my father's beta's ugly son Jared. He's covered in acne and... Ew. My sister Aimee can have him.

With the wind blowing through my tan fur, and I was only to be followed by the Bookoo pack, my own pack that I was running from. The tension, and familiar scent in the air changed as I bounded through a clearing. The pounding of feet stopped, and I stopped. Turning to see why they stopped I noticed I was no longer on my land, I was on another pack's land.

My father, the alpha, was standing tall in his grey wolf form his piercing blue eyes so similar to my own was staring behind me. Whipping my head around I saw him and his pack. A tall dark brown wolf, with a scar running from his left eye to the top of his cheek stood looking at me, his green eyes full of lust and curiosity.

He took a step forward and my wolf was screaming "Mate,"

‘Oh HELL Naawhh!’ I thought. Yeah, he was gorgeous and probably smelt great but.. NO!

Soon enough he was at my side, power rolling off him, and his fresh rain and woodsy scent filling my nostrils. In the background I heard my mother whimper behind my father. I let my barriers down and no one in the pack was talking, except my mother.

'Melissa,' she whispered in my mind. 'Please, come back please,' she begged.

The intoxicating wolf nuzzled his snout against my neck, and shocks shot through me making me shiver.

Fuuckk Mee!

'Danielle,' My father said to my mother. 'She's just found him.' My mother shifted, her platinum blonde hair like my own falling down her back, as she lunged for me. The wolf barked a command calling his wolves back.

"NO! Melissa!!" My mother screamed, clawing at my father's back as he shifted and covered her with his body.

"She's there now. You knew we couldn't keep her from him forever," he whispered as she sobbed into his shoulder.

'My baby,' she sobbed through the mind link. 'I'm so sorry.' she shifted, retreating into the woods towards home.

“My girl, I wish you luck," my father's voice boomed through the clearing. He gave me a salut and shifting back. The pack howled a farewell and stalked off. I turned to the wolf, his pack somewhere off in the woods, not far though. He shifted and I looked away, knowing he'd be naked.

“I'm Lucas," his deep voice rumbled sexy and smooth.

Not helping it I looked and he had shorts on holding his shirt in his hand out to me. His pack must have had clothes for him. I just stared at him, a growl forming deep in my chest.

"Common, shift," he smiled. I studied him. He had brown shaggy hair, deep green eyes, and caramel colored skin with a very toned body. The growl passed my lips on accident and my wolf mentally kicked me for growling at our mate.

"Ok, Ok. How about I turn around. I promise I won't look," He smirked, tossing the shirt down in front of me and turning around.

Sighing I shifted quickly pulling the shirt on."Melissa," I let my name roll off my tongue. He whipped around, causing me to take a step back at his movement.

"Wow, your," He pulled me into his arms, inhaling my scent and my skin began tingling under his touch.  "Beautiful, intoxicating, radiant," He grazed his teeth against the tender skin of my neck. A growl ripped through me, an alpha-like growl and I pushed hard against his chest, moving him back enough to get out of his grasp. "Feisty, eh?" I could smell his arousal, which didn't help me at all.

"Erm..No.. I Mean.." I stuttered. "Shut up." I glared.

"You don't want to be claimed right now," he smirked.

"Really. No shit jerkface." I made a complete poker face.

"Don't worry babe," He smiled, his scar making him look super sexy. "I won't claim you without you saying so. And Babe?" He was holding back a chuckle. "I'm not a jerkface. I'm anything but.."

"Whatever you say.. Jerkface." I mumbled as he put his arm around my shoulder. He was a good 6'11, super tall, to my 5'11.

"Maybe tonight," he smirked, walking us into the woods.

I gasped, ripping away from him, "Tonight!?!" I looked at him in horror. "YOU ARE A JERKFACE,"

"Haha, calm down." he kissed my temple and I wiped it off, sticking my tongue out at him. "No, just before I introduce you to my pack," he paused. "You will be their Luna after all," He smiled, pulling me to him again.

I knew there was authority rolling off of him, "Of what, pack?" I stopped dead.

“Hellfire," My jaw dropped. Luna of Hellfire!

"Problem," I objected, stepping back and rethinking running from home.

"No. No problem. We are not as scary as people say we are," he smiled. "Sure there is rumors but, it's not that bad."

"Ye-" he cut me off.

"No. Now Melissa Cunningham of the Bookoo pack, I accept you to join the Hellfire pack. Do you agree? To join the pack and your mate?" He smiled down at me.

Eh why the hell not? I am the reckless wolf of adventure, maybe I can grow to love him.. Maybe.

“Yes," I grimaced. Melissa Cunningham of the Hellfire pack. How old was he anyway?

"Good, and I'm 21" he said.

"I'm 18," I blurted.

He picked me up and crushed his lips into mine, then putting me down leaving me a little breathless. Wth? He then winked, "Calm yourself, I can smell you," He grinned as I blushed. Most definitely not, will he just stop kissing me!?

"Now shift, your going home. Just don't run because I will want to chase you," He stopped and looked at me again. "If I chase you I will catch you and I might claim you right then and there," he chuckled at my embarrassment and red face. He shifted into his huge brown wolf.

'Common,' his voice filled my mind. I shrugged and followed him in my white-tan wolf.

I wonder how this will turn out. I grinned as I thought to myself.
