In two months, things were changing for the better, weeks were better, and days were better, without a single disruption between Nozomi and her wolf hybrid girlfriend. Now since things were much different Nozomi was keeping a secret from Eli and Eli was keeping a secret from Nozomi.
What could possibly get worse than this?
Knocking!
"I'll get it." Nozomi said getting up from her couch walking towards the front door. She looks through the keyhole seeing that it her parents.
'Why would my parents be here, didn't they say that they were working on an experiment back at the lab?' Nozomi thought to herself. She opens the door greeting her parents. "Mom, dad it's great to see you again." Nozomi said with a smile on her face, but that doesn't mean that she was happy. It was because of her parents job that they couldn't be a family like they use to, she felt that she was abandoned, for years as a kid she would come home back from school into an empty house.
"Well as you can see Nozomi, something has happened back at the lab, it seems that one of our test subjects escape during the examination, we were trying to tame it." Nozomi's father said. "After that happened, our boss wanted us to take a break from all the hard we have done, which reminded me that for our vacation we wanted to come and visit you after all these years you never had the perfect parent figure to be with you as a child, so that's why we're here... Is to be the family that you always wanted." Older women said who looks very similar to Nozomi, you won't be able to tell them from apart. Both parents hugs their daughter in a loving embrace which Nozomi gladly returns.
*Bark* Eli walking up to Nozomi then begins to stretch out her aching muscles showing that she was just sleeping. "My,my, who may this lovely creature be?" Nozomi's mother squats down to Eli's height rubbing her fingers through her fur, but her father on the other hand was afraid of dogs even little puppies. He steps back a little before confronting. "Now Nozomi, you should know that I don't mind you having a dog but at least keep that beast on a leash and away from me." Eli took that as an offense to be calling a beast, though she couldn't lie about being a beast....well only in bed that is, so she let that one slide. But God, being scratched behind the ear was a dream her tail wags and groans liking the treatment. Though for Nozomi she was getting jealous, her mother taking over her girlfriend who was in wolf form.
~ A few hours later ~
"So what have actually happened in the lab when working on the test subject in the lab, I'm just a little curious as all." The purple haired beauty said to her parents. "Since you asked, I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell on what what really happened?" Her father started off.
"It all happened 20 years ago before you were even born....."
________{ Flashback }________
It thrashed around as professors, doctors, nurses, and bodyguards held it down with a sheet over its head. Harsh growls and roars gotten louder, the intensity of this monster not letting these strange people strap it down without a fight. But the fight didn't went on for too long when one of the doctors injects a liquid that would make this monster to fall asleep. The effect kicks in making the beast fall into a deep sleep, the effect doesn't stay for a long time so they would have to act fast.
The beast finally wakes finding itself strapped in and chained up only for its first test.
"Test #1; Poison Injection."
The poison begins to flow through the tubes and into its body. The beast starts to thrash at the pain, screams with agony but the scientists didn't care they knew that the poison wouldn't kill this monster so they went on to another test.
"Test #2: Electrocution."
The beast found this test a bit more painful from the first test. The shock did nothing but trigger every nerve in its system, the scientist cranks up the intensity level of the shock. Then again the another test has failed, the beast continues to breathe as its steams from the heavy shock. 'What can possibly kill this monster?' Every scientist in the lab thought as they took notes.
A year has past, the beast sits in the same chair in complete darkness. The energy the beast had was starting to wear off... It was pointless to think it would would be able to get out. But then one person was generous enough to feed the beast. A woman with blonde hair and blue eyes stood in front of it with a smile she looked like she was in her twenties, the beast looks at her in awe wanting to be freed out of its shackles. For some reason the beast was excited to see the woman, it's tail slowing wags wanting to trust her because of her aura, though just to make sure the woman doesn't do anything bad the beast would have to make her its mate.....
_____{ Flashback Ended }____
"After my assistant let that beast out, we weren't able to put a tracking device on it in case if we make it go into battle with a vampire that keeps killing people..." Nozomi's father explains as he seems a little disappointed, not noticing that Eli was listening to the whole conversation. For a moment there was silence then Nozomi's mother breaks the ice with a new topic.
"Oh that reminds me how have you and Yoichi been doing... Have you two made any plans after you graduate college." Nozomi's mother winks at Nozomi who saddens at the discussion. Eli got up, to comfort her girlfriend. "No... Things haven't been going good between us." The sound of Nozomi's tone hints that she didn't want to talk about it. Nozomi's mother knew it would not be a good idea to go on the conversation but her father was curious to know what happened.
"Nozomi what happened?.." He asked. "I don't really want to talk about it." Nozomi said trying to avoid the question, he would take a no for an answer. "I will ask you again, what happened?" Getting aggressive with his tone, Eli stood and begins to growl at him telling him to back off. He backs up staring at Eli who also stares back at him, knowing if he makes the wrong move she would attack.
"Well it's getting late... I believe it's time for us to get some sleep... Nozomi dear do you have a guest room we could borrow." Ask Nozomi's mother. "Sure right this way." Nozomi walks her parents to the guest room. Eli walks to her and Nozomi's room to shift back into a human.
Few minutes later, Nozomi came into the room. Seeing Eli on the bed laying down and reading a book, Nozomi has something she wanted to tell her so she began, "Elichi..." She called. "Yes... Is there something wrong." Eli replied putting the book down and putting the time to give all of her attention to her mate. "It's nothing...nevermind forget that I said said anything." Putting on a fake smile she was about to go inside the bathroom to take a bath, but heard a growl as she touched the knob, she took a deep breath before turning her sights on Eli who was behind her in full wolf form and standing on her two high legs towering over Nozomi. The hybrid didn't want take that answer from her, Eli knew that something was wrong she can sense it from her lover's emotions. So she growled again demanding an answer. "Elichi...please, I'll tell you when I think it's the right time.." Turning away breaking eye contact with her, Eli didn't like that so she growled again getting a little aggressive and grabbing Nozomi's wrists placing them above her head keeping them from touching the door. "My parents are still here... Can we please discuss this some other time?" Still not giving eye contact, Eli growled once more and this time she leaned in closer to Nozomi's ear, "If you're going to keep hiding it, then I won't bother going easy on you tonight and I wouldn't care if your parents are here." Eli said huskily yet aggressive making Nozomi shiver at it.
