Luke's POV
"Ughhh." I groaned looking at myself in the mirror. My use to be blonde hair was now black thanks to Michael. He decided that it would be funny to put dye in my shampoo last night.
"Michael!" I yelled. He came rushing into my room with concern on his face until he saw my hair. He bursted out laughing. "I'm going to kill you." I seethed. Michael's smile dropped and he ran out of my room.
I chased after him down the stairs "Ashy!" He cried. Ashton paused the movie and looked at us confused. "Mikey what did you do?" Ashton could tell that i was angry.
"ImighthaveputdyeinLuke'sshampooandturnedhishairblack." He rushed. Ashton didn't understand a word his so i just pointed towards my hair. I made my way towards Michael, but Ashton stopped me.
"Luke calm down, you actually look good with your hair black." He put his hand on my shoulder. I shrugged him off and went upstairs to my room. I went to my bathroom. I stripped and hopped into the shower quietly humming.
I used Ashton's shampoo since mine had black hair dye. I washed my body and hopped out of the shower. I put on my Blink-182 shirt with black skinny jeans and all black converse.
I looked at myself in the mirror. I didn't look that bad with black hair. I tugged on a hoodie and grabbed my phone off the charger. I grabbed my keys and headed down the stairs.
"I'm headed to work!." I yelled only getting bye's and okay's in return. I walked to the music shop and clocked in right on time as always. "Woah" my boss Zayn stared at my hair in awe. "Don't ask." I grumbled.
He held up his hands in defense. I got to work by stacking CD's where they needed to go. I also sold a few albums. Before I knew it the work day had ended. I looked outside to seeing it pouring cats and dogs.
I groaned. "Zayn, can I borrow an umbrella?" I asked. There was no way in hell that I was walking home in the rain. "Sure." He shrugged. I picked up an umbrella and made my way home in the cold wet rain. On the way home I saw a box that I didn't notice on my way to work.
Inside of the box there was something whimpering. It was curled into a ball in the corner of the box. I walked closer and poked it gently with my finger. It quickly turned around and started to wail. This scared me and I ended up falling right on wet ground. Great just what I need. A wet ass.
I finally got a good look at what was in the box. It turns out that it was a small boy. His facial features made him look like a teenager, but his body size made him look little. He had brown eyes, tan skin that was slightly dirty, and dark hair. He looked at me with a lot of fear in his eyes. When I looked closer i noticed floppy brown ears and a fluffy tail. That's when I put it all together.
He was a hybrid. I've heard about them, but I never thought that they were real. He kept whimpering trying to get away from me, but couldn't because he was inside of a box. "It's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you." I said softly. I didn't know if he understood English or not. He stopped trying to move away from me. I slowly picked him up out of the box.
He was about 5'5 and was really light. When I picked him up his ears went back and he tucked his tail in between his legs like he was still scared. I wouldn't blame him. I would be scared as hell if some stranger just picked me up, but I wasn't going to hurt him.
This mysterious boy was also a little skinny. I carried him all the way home. He shivered the entire way home. I put the key in the door and walked inside. Ashton and Michael weren't there anymore. The boy's head was on my shoulder with his tail still tucked in between his legs.
The first thing that I did was take him to the bathroom. I ran him some warm water and laid out some clothes for him. I sat him on the floor of the bathroom. I looked at him asking for permission. He seemed to know what i was asking and slowly lifted his arms.
