I wake up in a blindingly white fluorescent room with curtains that look like they're made out of my aunts Christmas dress, a sharp pain forces me to jolt upright and stare at the nurse in front of me.
"You banged you're head, bit silly don't you think?" She said nonchalantly.
"um.. is my mum here?"
"Oh no, they left yesterday. The doctor told them that even when you wake up, you'd still be stuck here for another two days! How wonderful?" She smirked. I thought nurses were nice and reassuring? This one certainly isn't!

Lunch came around eventually and thank god it did I'm absoloutly starving! The nurse told me that i could go to the canteen and get something to eat, so me being me, i practically jumped up and ran to get food (don't judge).
