The doorbell rings

Omg it's him, I thought I left him behind in New York
Chris: Shay 😌

Trey: Y'all two know each other

Chris: (licks his lips) Yeah yeah at the store and everything plus you told me about her Trey
Trey: Right (laughs)
Trey shook this uneasy feeling he had about Shay and Chris. To him it seemed like there was more to the story but if they had something going on before wouldn't Shay tell me.
August arrived ready to beat everyone at basketball while Brittany wanted to talk with Shay and eat. Chris, August and Trey headed outside to shoot some hoops while the girls stayed in to talk.
Brittany: Shay boo how are you
Shay: I'm freaking out
Brittany: Why girl? It looked like you seen a ghost
Shay: I haven't told Trey about me and Chris
Brittany: Girl you gotta tell him he will understand, all of that was before you and Trey even met
Shay: But me and Chris lied and said we didn't know each other like that and Trey it's gonna think I had something to hide
Brittany: Well speak now or hold on to it and you risk it all with you and Trey
Shay knew Brittany was right but she loved Trey so much and didn't wanna hurt him. How do you tell your lover that you and one of his best friend's use to go together, almost had a child but it died. The lost of their son was so painful that they couldn't stand to look at each other and they didn't wanna get married anymore. I know this will bring back old wounds but I'm with Trey and I have to be honest with him right. Chris has moved on too so why should there be any conflict besides the fact that I just basically lied to him. Way to go you big dummy you really outdid yourself this time.
