Kendalls P.O.V

 I see my mom at the door crying. " Mom what happened?" I ask and she turns to me with a message from the army. "Oh no". I think. I instantly rush to her side "Mom whats wrong? What happened? Is daddy okay?" I ask quickly putting my arms around her trying to comfort her. SHe keeps crying. "Your...father....was......shot.....down...Kendall. Im...so...sorry" She says in between sobs and hiccups. I dont know what to say anymore so i just stand there and hug her knowing i have to be strong in front of her. She looks me in the eyes. " I love you baby girl. Your scarily calm." In my head im denying the death of my father. It cant be." Lets go eat" I say emotionless. I walk into the kitchen and start to get my medicine down. I see she had been making our plates when she got the news so i finished making them. I sat at the table and waited for her to sit with me. I quickly got up and grabbed a glass of water because taking as many pills as i have to kills my throat. I start taking them and my mom sits with me. I see shes calmed down a bit. "How was your day at Work mum?" I asked trying to make simple talk. I see shes to upset to still talk and she just gives me a thumbs up.

Reeses P.O.V-

Ughhh another day in high school hell over finally. I think as i sit on my bed and log into my computer. I quickly do my homework and my friend sends me a link to a random ass chat site. Video chat or Text chat pops up. Im too fucking lazy right now so i choose video chat. The first chat i get is a guy jacking off. " Dude nasty." I say and end the chat. The next chat is this gorgeous girl. Im looking at her and she smiles and giggles. I see her name on there. Bandlover817. Cute. i can already tell shes probably really into music. She kinda looks like this goth girl in my school. " Hey" she says. She has a pretty voice. I just wave because im still awestruck by her. I ask her where shes from and she tells me New York. Damn it. I was hoping she lived closer. She probably has a boyfriend. She smiles at me and we talk for a bit. Before i knew it we had been talking for a few hours and i realized that i was falling really hard for her. I say a few cheesy ass pick up lines without realizing it and she giggles at them. She tells some stupid jokes but i laugh at them. We talk about music. She tells me her name. Kendall. That is a beautiful name. I love it so much. Wait. She has then same name as the goth girl. But this Kendall lives in New York. That's so freaky. I see that she bites her lip and i cant help but groan. I guess she heard me groan. Damn. now i have to explain it and then she tells me how she always bites her lip when shes thinking. Welp im fucked. So i try to change the subject." Your boyfriend is a really lucky guy to have such an amazing and beautiful girl like you. Im surprised he lets you video chat with complete strangers.". She scoffs."What boyfriend? Most of the guys in my school wont even look me in the eyes. They are too preoccupied in looking at my boobs." She says and i laugh. I see her smile. God she has a beautiful smile. I dont want to tell her that so i stupidly say . " You kinda look like one of the girl in my school. Shes super sweet and nice. As a matter of fact you two have the same name. ive just never heard her talk. She probably has a gorgeous voice." She looks at something behind what i believe to be her lap top. " What are you giggling about silly?" I ask. She simply replies with the one word every girl says but dosent mean. " Nothing." She dosent know i know girls better than that. " Bullshit." I say. She groans. " Fine, Fine. " Im just thinking about the test i have coming up in trigonometry." I laugh. I hear someone call her and she friends me. So atleast i know she likes talking to me." Hey ive gotta go. ill be back in a bit." she says with a twinge of sadness in her voice and with a slight smile. I smile. " Dont worry beautiful ill talk to you later." I say slightly trying to act smooth. We both wave and she shuts her laptop. I sigh and close mine and get a text from my best friend Mikey. He asks me if i want to practice baseball and i agree. If Kendall comes back online ill know because i have the app that will tell me. I get on my practice uniform and head out. I see an admiral at the goth girls house and i hear her mother start crying. They live down the street but i dont have the balls to talk to her. I keep going because i dont see her and i meet my friend at the park.
