Finally I'm home, I sat on the coach trying to process what just happened; I told Lila about Sebastian being a vampire and she actually believed me ... But ... Should I tell Luke? I think it would be better for him not knowing but I .. He'll be in the dark for his own sake.
But you already told Lila my conscious snapped.
Not telling him is just a further way to break both of our hearts; actually it's not helping anyone here. But again, what if Sebastian found out about me telling them who he is or to be exact what he is.
He won't know, again with my conscious.
Prom is a week away and everyone is super busy in decorations, dresses, dates and those stuff, so he won't be seeing either Luke nor Lila to know that I told them - I guess. I went by the window it's now dark; I gazed up at the stars.
"What should I do?" I said loudly as if the stars would actually answer me.
My head was on the verge of exploding so I grabbed my phone and called the only one who could tell me exactly what to do; Nanny. The phone rang twice before she picked up.
"Beth," she sounded worried.
"I am fine Nanny." I heard her sigh a sigh of relief before she spoke.
"What's up?" She asked her voice normal again.
"A lot," I said playing with the pillow beside me.
"Define 'a lot' please?" She asked.
I took a deep breath before I fill her in, "Sebastian found out about me," I started.
"What?" She screamed so loudly that I had to move the phone away from my ear; my ear drum hurt.
"Are you okay?" She asked quickly.
"Alive and kicking." I said sarcastically.
"I told you from day one that it was a bad idea." She scolded.
"Yeah I know."
"But?" she said instead of me.
"He told me that he would kill me at prom and that I must follow his game rules or else he'll hurt my friends." I said throwing the pillow angrily.
"But you're planning to change the game's end," she said hesitant.
"Of course, if I go down; I'll go down fighting as a hunter, just like dad." I said with much pride in my voice.
"Why do I have the feeling that this is not the only thing you're calling about?" She tested.
"You know me too well." I teased.
"Well, I raised you. Now tell me." She said and I could sense her smiling.
"One of Sebastian's conditions was to break up with Luke, that guy I told you about, and for his own sake I did; I broke his heart and mine in the process." I could feel my heart beating loudly in my chest recalling the memory of Luke's face when I told him. "And today he went missing - Luke. At first I thought Sebastian had something to do with it but it turned out that Luke just needed some space. When they found him a friend of his called me to tell me the news and I .... I wasn't thinking straight I had to go see him. There I fought with Lila - the girl that I told you about before; my best friend and I might have slipped and told her about Sebastian being a blood sucking monster and after that everything that happened starting from my mother's transition till now." I blurted the last part.
"You what?" Again with the screaming.
"I don't know what came over me; it just happened." My voice came out faint.
