Ivy and ferns grew through the crevices of the old winding stone path, which led directly to the colossal structure. The mansion loomed proudly behind creaky iron gates, flanked by rows of skeletal trees crowned in crimson, swaying gently to the chilly autumn wind. At its threshold stood the delicate marble fountain, the soft gurgling of the clear water melodic as it resonated in the surrounding silence.

It was almost 8pm and the night sky was as beautiful as it always was. Cristiano led me into the mansion where we handed our tickets.

The lingering light was obliterated by the rapidly falling night. The once salmon and purple sky transformed into a vast expanse of jet-black that engulfed the town. A canopy of luminous stars materialized amongst the ocean of blackness. Some were dull, merely flickering into existence every now and then, but there was an adequate amount of shimmering stars to illuminate the dark, moonless night.

Cristiano lays a hand on my back as he led me slowly towards a dark room where almost everyone was gathered.

"Excuse me, we're VIP," he says, showing the staff our passes.

"You're right on time. This way," the staff responded, leading us through a hallway and soon, we were in the main room. It was too dark to see anything but I knew were alone as there wasn't any sound, except for the sound of our breathing.

"Welcome to the annual Art Gallery Festival!" a loud clear voice filled the room through the speakers located at the corners. I looked around, still in darkness. I was still holding Cristiano's hand, hoping that I wouldn't trip over anything.

And suddenly, the whole room was filled with lights. Strings of lights, forming shapes that filled the walls. The room was filled with colourful light patterns and we were the only one there. My eyes widened as I looked at the beautiful sight before me. It was breathtaking, and it felt as if I was dreaming. This was something you'd dream off a disney movie. A room filled with beautiful LED lights. We walked through the hallways which had golden lights put up. And soon, it brought us to a smaller room with a big chandelier above us but still, small lights surrounding us. And as we walked further, it led us to a balcony with the night sky at the other side.

I gripped Cristiano's arm, pulling myself closer to him as we walked slowly towards the balcony.

Truly, this was an experience I wouldn't want to enjoy with anyone else or in any other way. It seemed too good to be true and everything around us were too magical to believe that it was actually happening. Anyone would've took out their phone and started taking pictures but for me, right now, I just wanted to live the moment. Away from the distractions and to focus on what was most important right now.

We got to the balcony, where our eyes met the lake before us. It was decorated with lights and floating lanterns everywhere.

"Cris, this is so beautiful," I gasped.

"I know right, I'm glad you introduced me to this," he responded.

None of us took our eyes off the scenery until I sensed his head turn to face me and his eyes were eye-ing me head to toe and soon, they stayed at my face. My lips curled a smile before I turn to look at him.

"What is it?" I asked as I noticed that he wasn't turning away.

Usually if someone were to be caught staring, without a second thought they'd turn away and make up an excuse but for Cristiano, he continued. In fact, a wide smile was drawn on his face.

"I'm so glad I'm witnessing this amazing moment with you," he said softly, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

I nodded, agreeing with what he had just said.

"And you're really beautiful tonight," he bit his lower lip.

"I-I mean you look beautiful everyday, just extra beautiful today," he stuttered.

I giggled, trying to hide the fact that I was blushing.

"Oh really?" I raised an eyebrow, with a sarcastic tone.

"Yes, I've been looking at you alot," he suddenly paused.

"That came out wrong didn't it?" he chuckled, causing me to smile.

He lays a hand on my cheek as he pulled himself closer to me. His other hand managed to find my waist, pulling me closer that our stomach touched. Well, at least his stomach was touching my chest. I placed my arms around his waist before I slowly moved them up to his shoulders, around his neck. He slowly moved his hand down, closer to my back where he slowly pulled me up, pressing his lips against mine. And at that moment, everything around me went blank. It was like the lights have turned off and all of my focus was thrown to Cristiano and only Cristiano.

The kiss started off gentle and soft but slowly, it grew aggresive with passion. I didn't reject it either. Instead, I responded back with the same energy and passion.

I've wanted this for way too long.

He pulls his head back for a while, glancing into my eyes. His eye contact had sent shivers down my spine. He smiled and leaned in closer to my ear.

"Maybe we can pick up where we left off next time?" he whispered.

"Junior must be wondering when you'll be back," he added.

I looked down at my wrist watch, which shows that it was almost 11pm.

"Yeah, we should get going," I said, embarassed of what had just happened.

I could feel my cheeks turning bright red.

We got inside his car before the paparazzis could catch up and soon enough, we were on the road again. None of us spoke and I wanted to break the silence but I didn't know how. Especially at the fact that we had just kissed. I remained silent and looked out of the window, admiring the city lights.

I felt his hand slowly resting on my thigh. And slowly, he was rubbing it gently. I would've pushed his hand away but at this moment, I didn't want to. It sent me an electric feel through my body and I didn't want it to stop.

There he was, caressing my thigh. Slowly, his hands moved higher, and higher underneath my skirt. I had my eyes closed as I bit my lips. I threw my head back before he finally stopped and pulled his hand away.

I opened my eyes, only to realise that we've reached my house.

"We're here," he cleared his throat.

"Right. Thank-thank you for tonight. It was great," I smiled.

"Every part of it?" he asked, before I could leave.

"Yes, every part of it," I responded, knowing what he meant. I had a wide smile on my face as I slowly walked up to my door.

"Goodnight!" I heard him shout.

"Goodnight!" I responded, and then shut the door behind me. I rested my back on the door as I slowly slid down, sitting on the floor. I was still in shock with how amazing the night was.

Oh, if only we haven't reached my house any time sooner. I wonder where his touch would've led us.
