Appearance: Margarette, like Marinette, is half French half Chinese. She has long black hair with a blue hue. She let it loose or sometimes in a small ponytail with a simple whitish pink hairband with a big flour on the side. She also has big bright bluebell eyes. She usually wears traditional Japanese clothes, even though she's Chinese. But her parents doesn't mind. Sometimes, she just wears a simple light blue skirt, with a white top with thin blue lines across it. She also wears a transparent white blazer over it. Light blue sandals with no heels.

As Papillon Bleu, she wears a ruffly colorful dress, which she wears with dark knee high socks, with a band on her thigh and her left upper arm. She also has a flower bracelet around her wrist and she gets pinkish purple wings behind her back. She also gets a blue chocker around her neck. With simple blue flats. Her headband turns to a shade of dark lilac and her flower turns more purple. She wears a very light purple mask over her face with two swirly points at the edges. Her hair is also longer and ties into low twintails and are slightly more darker.
Personality: Margarette is a lot like Marinette, but she's more mature and calm. She's a big fan of anime, music and pastries. Though she hides her otaku-crazy side in school, she truly loves it. She has more self confidence than Marinette, but keeps to herself often. She is kinda blunt, not hesitating to tell what she truly feels. She is kinda oblivious and dense when it comes to love and her feelings. She consider others feeling, even doing anything for them.
Despite being very friendly and kind, she gets annoyed and mad easily. She isn't violent, but turns very cold. She also sometimes joke about how she like Chat Noir, despite having real feelings towards him, but actually gets sad when she sees him flirt with Ladybug. But she's a sweet friend and supports him.
As her alter ego, Papillon Bleu, she's more quiet and shy, appearing very clumsy and absent minded. She blushes more often, and sometimes stumble with her words. She's still very clever and swift though, and she sometimes appear graceful like a butterfly. She sometimes like to have a good laugh and keeping the atmosphere light. She's always positive and encourage her friends to do more.
The similarities between Papillon Bleu and Margarette is that they always talk with quotes in their sentences. They love talking about music and anime.
