Chapter 3 Pt.2

He kissed me.

Right there in the empty ballroom.

He kissed me and I kissed him back.

I didn't know what I was doing but it felt right. I felt his hand on my bare back where the dress hung and the other under my chin. My hands were on his neck to his stomach and right back up.

When his tongue entered my mouth he started to back me back to the wall. I was totally out of it until he started to kiss my jawline so we could catch a breath.

"Ryan. " I gasped. With that he brought his forehead to mine and our noses together and our lips centimeters apart. Thinking of an excuse to get away from what just happened I begin by move away. "They are going to notice we are missing."

"So what?" He grinned his toothy smile and got closer; it almost made me forget that I needed to get away.

"Ryan."

"El." He whispers on my mouth before placing his on mine once again. This time I wasn't even thinking at all. I let him lead me and just went with it. This kiss was more hungry then the last. I don't know how long we were at it but Brianna came into the ballroom calling my name.

I broke the kiss in panic and heard her heels moving closer towards the corner where me and Ryan were. She couldn't see us and she was going to soon so I left Ryan and walked towards Brianna.

"There you are. I was looking for y-" she paused and was staring behind me at Ryan who decided to leave the corner and walk past us towards the exit.

"Daniella what were-"

I cut her off quick "I don't want to talk about it. I need your lipstick," with a confused look on her face she pulls out the lipstick from her dress and watches me as I use the crystal glass statue as a mirror to reapply and remove to smudges he caused.

I couldn't stop thinking about what I have just done. 2 years of avoiding him for this.

I cap the lipstick I head into the dinning room and sit next to my mother and Theo. I can feel my mom staring at me and at that moment Ryan walks in with his tux in order but I could still notice my lipstick on his collar and his lips were a bit tinted.

When my brother noticed him take a seat, his eyes looked like they were about to fall out of their sockets. Theo turns to me to see me reaction but I pretend I don't notice. I just had to get myself through this dinner and I will be gone by sunrise.

I never ate much of that dinner. It was hard when your ex is staring at you the whole time.

As soon the dinner got to desserts I couldn't take it anymore.

"Sorry but I must retire to my room. Early morning for me tomorrow. " I stand at my seat as I speak and bend towards my mother you give her a quick kiss before leaving the dinning room.

Walking down the room along the side of the table since I was at the head of it with the royals; it felt like the walk took forever and rushing wasn't princess like and a few of the guest stop me to greet me quick. A quick departure become an eternity.

When I finally exited the dinning room and entered the ballroom once again I grabbed a champagne flute took it in one go. Argiana alcohol was much stronger since it took a lot to actually feel the affect. I took a bottle from one of the ice buckets and l left the crystal glass themed room into the kitchen doors.

Once I entered some of the cooks and maids noticed and looked at me as I made my way around looking for some of the dessert I hadn't gotten the chance to eat.
