Phil's POV
Today was an odd day for me. It was weird having April comforting me. Hearing her telling me her story, made me feel better. And when she hugged me, I felt complete. I want to see her everyday, I miss her already.
There was a knock on the door, I opened it. 'April?' I asked, smiling inside. "Hi.' she smiled big. 'Wanna go out for dinner? It's 8:00 PM and all my friends are with their families or out with their boyfriends.' April said still smiling, I was tired but I couldn't tell her no, she is adorable with this smile. 'Sure April. Come on in and wait for me.' I said moving aside so she can get in, 'Okay.' she said excitedly. 5 Minutes later, I went out, 'So where do you wanna go?' I asked, 'Well we're in Chicago. So, why don't you take me somewhere good?' April asked, I chuckled, 'Sure. Let's Go.' I said and we both went out.
April's POV
Don't ask me why did you do it cause I have NO idea. I wanted to see him again, I feel happy with him! He's such a sweet guy from the inside. I see it, he's always frowning from the outside but he's definitely a good guy. 'WoW! I love this place!' I exclaimed as we were at this small, cosy restaurant. 'Yeah. I go here all the time whenever I come to Chicago.' Phil said, I'm glad he took me to his favourite place. I Smiled, 'So, what do you recommend?' I asked as we sat down, 'I love their turkey sandwich.' Phil said, 'Me Too! I love turkey sandwiches! I swear whenever I go to a restaurant, I just have to order a turkey sandwich.' I giggled, he laughed, 'Looks like we've a lot in common.' Phil said, 'I guess we do.' I said and smiled at him.
I'm not letting this man go. Nobody understands him the way I do, I'm going to be there for him whenever he need me. And that's a promise.
