I put on a white shirt, and a dark brown skirt, with some brown boots, a green jacket over a grey hoodie for warmth, and my backpack.
I safely tucked my two daggers into my bag, along with a snack for later, and climbed out my window incase Luddy was still mad at me.
As my feet his the ground I took of at a brisk walking pace towards the pumping station. When Jak came out, he had more of those Skullgems. Something about the action, and the reward, lured me to the hunt.
Once I was through the two air locked doors, I pulled out my daggers. Finding it foolish to have extra weight on me, I found a small bush and tucked my bag inside it, hidden from the world, and slipped my daggers in my belt.
I silently made my way across the sand, before seeing two moving and rising platforms. I pulled myself up onto one and got the metal land above it. I jumped from that to a small plot of land, and kept following this path, jumping when needed. I came to a flat open land space, a cliff to my left, a cliff drop off to my right. Head of me was a dead end and behind me was the way back.
I trained there, it seemed as if it was a metal head magnet. When I got back to my back and the two air locked doors I was covered in metal head blood, but not a single scratch. The entire way home I could hear something behind me, but I shrugged it off as my imagination.Lud: Lizzie, meet me at the bar, I need to talk to you
Lizzie: oh UM, okay....sorry LudWell now he knows that I've been sneaking out. I pushed he noise out of my head and walked towards the bar. Lud was waiting outside for me, a look of disappointment on his face as I walked over.
"Heeeeyyyyy Luddy, you wanted to see me?" I brushed off a little bit of the dark blood and smiled as innocently as possible.
"You've been sneaking out." He said. I looked at my feet, trying to play the child card like I used too. I heard a low growl turn into a loud growl. So that's what was following me! Shit! A metal head grunt lunged at us from the shadows. More correctly, lunged at Lud. Pushing my 'brother' out of the way I took the hit. Large claw marks made gashes in my skin and I yelped from the pain. My reaction was slow, but I still managed to grab my dagger from my bag. I wrestled with the thing for a minute, until something, or someone lifted it off me.
Lud was in the corner, so it wasn't him. I stabbed the beast once in the head and once in the heart to make sure it was dead. Whoever had held it, dropped it.
Jak.
I stared at him for a moment, and went to move towards him, when a searing pain shot through me drawing my attention back to my wounds.
"Shit." I took off my green jacket and tossed it aside, then took of my grey hoodie. In a panicked moment I tried to stop the bleeding until Jak grabbed my hands and pulled them away from my side.
"Calm down. I'm taking you to Torn, he can help." Jak picked me up and put me on a two person cruiser. He took my jacket from me and wrapped it around my wound, trying to slow the bleeding for now.
I sat in silence. Why was he there when I was there? Why did he help? Maybe....maybe I should join the rebellion. I could fight. I can fight! I can be of use to them with some better training, weapons, and armor! And I could get to know Jak more. I could get to understand him. Why do I even care? I was snapped out of my thoughts when I was lifted up and taken inside. I knew I was in the Undergrounds HQ, but my vision was blurring from blood loss, and slowly, everything was turning black. My hearing was pathetic and every now and then I hear Jak call my name, but that was before it all faded to black.
Where the hell am I? Everything around me is darkened shades of red and blue. Blue. Lots of blue. I looked around the room. Infront of me there was a small bed on a wooden frame with blue sheets. Next to the bed was a lamp, but it was a lamp you needed to light, and I saw no matches. Across the room was a wall made entirely of bookshelves. The highest reaches were filled with collectible things, and what I would assume we're power cells, and the lowest reach had boxes. The middle held books. The room felt familiar, and I dug through a box to find matches. I heard a shuffling noise behind me, but ignored it and lit the lamp. I turned around to see-(Sorry for the short chappie! More coming soon!)
