Dylan's POV

Smack

A large pillow smacked my face as I heard a loud infectious laugh erupt from my wife's mouth.

"WAKE UP SLEEPING BEAUTY!" She yelled, jumping up and down on the bed. Her feet narrowly missing my head.

I groaned, grabbing her by the ankles and yanking her down so her face was directly in front of mine.

"Morning." She finally said something quietly.

I looked her directly in the eye, trying to stifle the laughter that was coming it's way. She beat me to it though, eventually leading to us both bursting into fits of laughter. I didn't know what was funny, but when Emma laughs you can't help but laugh back.

"Are you ready for today?" I asked, pressing my lips against her forehead.

"As ready as I'll ever be I guess." She sighed, her eyes landing on her now growing bump.

We were in LA, the VMAs were last week and we were taking a break over here. Today was the day reserved for meeting up with my family. My parents and my sister were going to meet up with us for lunch and then Julia and Emma might be going shopping afterwards. My mum might go aswell, especially if she's finding out about the baby today.

We told quite a lot of the squad about our lil human in Emma's belly. But they were on strict rules not to tell anyone or we would slit their throats.

Literally.

People are starting to sniff things out though so it's probably best to tell my family before E! News.

Emma and I sat in silence for a while longer before I forced myself to get up and make myself look semi presentable.

We've both gotten to the point where we're never early for anything anymore. If you invite us to something at a certain time people are just expecting us an hour later. That's the O'Brien way of life now.

I was pacing up and down the bedroom whilst Emma was curling her hair.

"THATS WHAT I GO TO SCHOOL FOOOOR!" She sang loudly TO the music blaring from her phone.

I giggled, watching her sing and curl with such concentration it was unbelievable.

"We need to have another one of those parties but I wanna be hammered this time." She randomly stated.

"The only TIME you can get hammered is when that baby is out of you."

"I know, it's so far away. Why'd you knock me up?" She joked, setting down her curlers on the dressing table she was sitting at.

I pretended to be distraught, placing my hand on my heart. "Excuse me." I watched her give me the judgiest look possible before she smirked, applying some more lipstick. Bringing more attention to the lips I wanted to kiss so badly but I knew she'd go mad because she's too lazy to put another layer on.
"Would you rather I didn't knock you up?" I asked as she popped her lips together. I dunno what you call it when they do it but it makes a funny noise.

She tiptoed over to me, sitting on my lap. Her face was inches away from mine, slightly further away than usual though because of Mr Bump. But I wouldn't change mr bump for the world.

"You can knock me up any day." She smirked. I couldn't help but laugh. Her beautiful green eyes stared into mine and in that moment I couldn't care less about lipstick. I smashed my lips against hers, taking her by surprise a bit. The familiar feeling warmed my heart. It was like the feeling when you take your socks off after a long day. Kissing Emma was like taking my socks off except 183893030% more fun.
