SAM POV
Moe's been with me for 3 months now and every since his plane crash he's been doing everything like it's his last day.
Yesterday he surprisingly brought up meeting each other's parents. I was pretty much caught off guard cause we have been together for only 3 months and he wants to make this big step. Deep down I was scared but I thought if he's ready why not. We decided to fly to New Jersey this weekend.
The flight was an hour or two long and honestly I was nervous and my stomach felt weird. When we arrived I stood on his parents' driveway and calmed myself. I don't really know why I'm this scared. He's told me bout them and they seem nice. I guess everyone goes through this.
Right as I entered his mom hugged me and said "I've wanted to meet you for so long. Every time Moe came to visit all I would hear is 'sam this and sam that' you must be amazing you made my boy into a man"
Moe started arguing that he was a man before I came along and his mom broke into laughter.
We had dinner together and his family shared countless stories about Moe's childhood. They made me feel welcomed and accepted. I'm glad I met them and I saw another side of Moe that night. He was playing with his nieces and teasing his siblings.
