Dapplepaw followed her sister out of the camp.  The two she-cats walked in silence for a few minutes until Dapplepaw finally broke the silence.  "What is it you wanted to tell me?" Dapplepaw questioned looking into her sister's serene brown eyes.

"Not here.  I don't want anyone to overhear us." Flowerpaw replied leading her sister  deeper into the forest.  Dapplepaw was approaching the place she had last encountered Flint and Shade and she was worried that the toms would make another appearance.

"Here's fine," Flowerpaw muttered settling down among the roots of  a fallen tree.  "Is everything alright?" Dapplepaw asked her eyes glowing with concern.

Flowerpaw wasted no time launching into her story.  "I was cleaning out the elder's den and they were talking about that huge battle with ShadowClan before we were born." Flowerpaw meowed. "Then Adderweed mentioned something about Fennelwind and then went silent."

"What's that have to do with me?" Dapplepaw questioned giving her sister an odd look. Blazeheart would be looking for her soon and Dapplepaw didn't have time to play detective with Flowerpaw.

"I don't know, never mind it's not important." Flowerpaw sighed, getting up with a far-off look on her face.

"Are you sure?" Dapplepaw inquired, not wanting to leave her sister upset for the rest of the day. "I'm your sister, you can tell me anything."

"Yeah, it's fine." Flowerpaw mewed. "I don't want to bother you any more than I already have."

Flowerpaw's words stung. She and Shadowpaw always viewed Flowerpaw as their little sister and the fact that Dapplepaw valued her training more than her sister's feelings for even a second made her feel horrible.

"Anyways, I'm going back." Flowerpaw meowed heading off in the direction of camp.

"Okay," Dapplepaw replied. "Be safe." She still had a little time before Blazeheart got mad at her so Dapplepaw wanted to make the most of the beautiful day. Dapplepaw decided to try and do some hunting so that she would have a solid excuse for not being at camp. Dapplepaw heard rustling in the leaves and dropped into a low crouch. Moving like a shadow across the forest, Dapplepaw pinpointed the origin of the sound and jumped onto the back of a small mouse. She silenced it with a deft blow and with the mouse in her jaws, Dapplepaw began to make her way back to camp.

"Hey Dapple, care if I join you?"
