I squel in excitement and run down stairs. "MOM GUESS WHAT" I yell "What?" She asks "me and Jack are going on a dattttteee!" I say she gasps "When is it?!" She asks "7 o'clock sharp" I say and she looks at the clock "well it 6 now so LETS GO GO GO!" She yells and we rush up stairs to get ready.
*time skip after they get ready*
It was 6:50 and we just finished. Mom picked out a beautiful light blue dress with ocean blue heels. (Picture below)

"Your ready" mom says and I smile. I hear a car honk "thats Jack and his mom!" I say "go getem!" She says. I kiss her goodbye and rush out the door to see a Jack in a pure black tux. "Hey Jack!" I say "hey Alex wow you look amazing!" He says and I blush. He wraps his arm around mine "Shall we?" He asks "we shall" I say smiling and we hop in the car and drive to the restaurant.
*time skip to restaurant*
We get to Golden Coral (real place idk if it's spelled right though) and we walk in "nice hair" Jack says "thanks" I say while blushing "hey I'm going to the bathroom be right back" Jack says and I nod.
*Jack's POV*
I went to the bathroom for a excuse to think how I'm going to tell Alex that I have another girlfriend and I'm breaking up with her. What's going to crush her more is that it's Piper. I know that she will hate me but still ALMOST A MONTH NO TEXT OR CALL! But she did say it was a family problem and Jerome did die but I like Piper more than her. I am going to tell her right after the date. Yeah that's what im going to do. Hopefully.
*Alex's POV*
After Jack came back we ate and ate because it is a buffet so GO BIG OR GO HOME! After we ate we were STUFFED. "Hey Alex remember when I said I have a surprise for you?" Jack asks I look up at him "yes what is it?" I ask "well um I uh" he says "SPIT IT OUT PERSON!" I yell and I get stares but I shake that off "ok um meandPiperaredatingandimbreakingupwithyou" he says and I give him a confused look "speak slower" I say and he takes a deep breath "me and Piper are dating and I'm breaking up with you" he says and it feels like my world just crashed my best friend is dating my boyfriend. I run out of the restaurant I hear my name being called but I ignore it i run and run until I'm at a park a nice peacful park with no one in sight. I go to the bench and just sit there my dress dangling off. It starts to rain "OF COURSE MAKE THE DAY WORSE!" I yell at the sky "hey are you alright?" A voice asks behind me it sounds like a girl "no my boyfriend just dumped me and why do you need to know?" I snap "because I don't want anyone hurt" the voice says and it's familiar "do I know you?" I ask "Mayyyybbbeee" I sit up and its Lauren! "LAUREN?!" I ask/yell "yep!" She says and I hug her "but I thought you were arrested!" I say "i did to but I told them everything and they let me go and dad is out to but we got lost and I lost him but he gave me a gold bunny necklace before we got separated" she says "hey he gave me a gold fox necklace before he abandoned me" I say "cool!" She says "so were do you live?" I ask "actually no where i have lived in the woods for the past week" she says her happy expression turning sad "hey maybe you can stay with me I mean it shouldn't be a problem" i say and her face lit up "REALLY?!" She asks "yep" I said popping the p "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!" She says while hugging me "no problem but we should get going we are already soking wet from rain and its a 10 minute walk" I say slightly laughing "yeah we should go!" She says chuckling too. Me and her both get up and go. This is going to be great!
