A new sister

*still Alex's POV*
Me and Lauren walk home together and talk in the rain. My dress is sticking to my side and my heels are squishy because of the rain. Once we get home mom and dad see us and run up to us and hug me "why were you out late? Why are you wet? Who is this?" Dad asks "well Jack broke up with me to be with Piper and I ran off to the park and then it started to rain and junk and this is Lauren she was working with my mom" I say and mom and dad stare at me in shock and they back away "get.her.out. She caused us alot of harm and pain!" Dad yells "No! She was forced because mother adopted her and abused her and our old father after she told the police that Lauren and her dad got to leave but tragically got separated and then she saw me in the park and now we are here!" I say. They look at her and tilt their heads but just nod and walk away. "So I guess you don't care that Jack broke up with you and now is with Piper huh?" Mom asks "nah. They were meant to be together I could tell" I say and mom nods. Me and Lauren quickly rush upstairs and change out of our wet soggy outfits. "Hey dad?" I ask going down stairs "yeah?" He says/asks "is Lauren now my sister?" I ask "well yeah I guess until she finds her dad but you are still sisters because you two have the same parents" he says and I nod and run up stairs "so am I your sister?" She asks "yup" I said popping the p. We both hug very tightly "wanna watch some anime?" I ask "DO I?" she yells and we run to the T.V.

*time skip after 3 hours of Anime*

I was still watching Anime but Lauren passed out an hour ago. I pick Lauren up on my shoulder she is surprisingly not heavy and I put her in the spare room down the hall. I go to the steps to see a crying Mitch and Dad trying to comfort him "its gonna be okay" dad says patting his back while Mitch is sobbing "NO ITS NOT ADAM! YOU DONT GET IT *sob* I wanted to propose to him!" Mitch says in between sobs "I know but we couldn't do anything Jerome did what he wanted to do. Save Alex. I'm so sorry" dad says still patting Mitch's back. Wait so Mitch was going to propose? DANG IT MOM WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BREAK UP OUR FAMILY #MEROME COULD OF BEEN REAL! I then go to my room. Yes I feel really bad for Mitch but I don't want him to know that I heard his conversation. I then flop down on my bed and let the darkness surround me.
