Changing Tides- Skye X Kyle

Part 1 : New School

Skye's P.O.V.

         Argh, I hate my dad's stupid job. He works as a entrepreneur for his company Doragon Corporation. We have to always move around. My dad says this is our last move. I hope so. I always lose my friends. They don't have a phone or a email. I'm glad this is going to be our last move. 

        Anyway this was the first day at my new school. I ate my breakfast, the usual toast, bacon, and eggs. I grabbed my bag and walked to school. I put on my earbuds and started playing the song "Faded" on my phone. Then out of no where, a boy with brown hair and blue eyes bumped into me. "Watch where your going." He shouted. I took out my earbuds. "Sorry" I mumbled. I hate that jerk. I hope he isn't in my school. I put back my earbuds ,but I didn't hear any music. That jerk who bumped into me held out my phone, "You didn't notice." He taunted. Then he ran away. I really hate that guy. What will my parents say since I lost it?

         I walked into the school and I saw everyone was sitting in front of a stage while the jerk was standing on the stage with the principal. "Today we congratulate Kyle Lupus for winning all the sport events for our school this summer.." He got an award and walked down the stage with a smile on his face. When he saw me he gave me a icy glare. I slowly tip-toed to the back of the room. I closed my eyes until I heard my name. "Everybody welcome our new student, Skye Doragon. The principal announced Everybody started whispering about me. My dad's company is big company and it owns lots of other companies. 

        After that welcome event was over, I walked through the halls. I was being pushed and Kyle pushed me so hard, all my stuff fell onto the floor. He laughed and walked away. Their was a girl in the crowd and she came over to me. "Are you okay?" I nodded yes and she helped me pick up my stuff. "My name is Ruby." She said. "Thank you and nice to meet you, Ruby. I'm Skye" I replied. "Kyle is a big bully, just ignore him." She advised. "Okay" I answered. I got up and Ruby walked to my locker with me. Our lockers were next to each other but our classes were very different. "Uh oh" She whispered. "What?" I asked. "Those are ALL of the classes Kyle takes" She explained. I groaned and trudged to my first class. It was social studies. Our teacher told us that all the work we will be doing is partner work. I hope I don't have to work with Kyle. "Kyle you will be partners with Skye for the entire year." She announced. "But.." he replied. "No buts, you know the rules. The best student in the class always works with a new student." She explained. "Fine" He mumbled.
