Izzy Sergeant was an only child.
Doesn't sound too hard right?
Wrong.
She got the brunt of all her parents anger, which came quite often. So she tried as hard as she could to be out all the time. Concealing her true life from her parents by hiding in study books.
There were only three people in the world that could calm her down . Her Best friends Cassi and Yazz. Then her boyfriend,Joseph.
They were the only people she trusted.
The world seemed so calm when they were together. With them, she could forget about her wreck of a home life and feel welcome.
"Hey Izz, wanna go 'study'?" Yaz asked,
giggling as they walked to the other class room to collect their boyfriends.
"Dunno, Mum is stressed about a load of stuff since christmas is close. I think I should probably help!"
"True...Text me then " Yaz said. She joined her boyfriend as he left the classroom.
Meanwhile Izzy waited for Joe. Always the last out of the classroom. Every time!
But Izzy didn't mind .
