"Isabeal it's all your fault! if you hadn't come along and been such a brat then your dad and I would be fine!!"
Her mum screamed at her. The words stung like a stab in the chest and Izzy's heart was beating fast and soon she felt faint.
What kind of a mother says that to their child?Asked the voice in Izzy's head.
"I don't know" She whispered back to herself .
Suddenly, she blacked out.
Am I dead? she thought. then she heard voices.
"Izzy darling are you okay?"
" Izzy , bud you alright?"
Her parents.
In refusing to open her eyes, well, more like not being able to open them, she had a flashback to when she was little.
<flashback>
"Honey she's gorgeous!" Her mum said. Watching her 5 year old daughter wearing her many daisy chains. She was happy. they were a happy.
-8 years later-
"Izzy will you take the dogs out for me?" Her mum asked poking her head around the door.
"No mum I'm going shopping with Yaz "
"What? but you only went last week! "
"But mum!"
"Okay fine but where will you get the mon-"
" Mum can I have £50?"
"Okay fine but this is the last time!"
<flashback over>
Well, it wasn't the last instalment. And not too long after , when Izzy was 15, the family business went bankrupt and they were left endlessly requesting loans .
Now , they were swimming in debt.
