Inspiration: my teddy bear right beside me

She tossed and turned but couldn't drift to sleep. Opening her bright blue eyes. She felt empty without him. He would always sleep on the left side of her. She would always fall asleep, her back facing him. Then wake up with her arms and legs wrapped around him as her cheek was pressed into his chest. She felt whole with him. She felt happy. But they were taking a break.

Groaning when she looked at her clock, as it read 2:25. She got up to wash her face. Maybe knock some sense into her. Before climbing back into bed. She grabbed her big bear he got her for Christmas one year and tucked him in just like he would. If he was here.

She barley slept that night. And she woke up with her cheek pressed to it's soft fur.
