Chapter Eight

I was angry that those stupid people interrupted me from my Margo. I grumbly walk down the stairs to the living room.

Before I can reach the room that the Richards are in, I heard a sound coming from behind me. But when I looked behind me I saw nothing so I just shrugged it off.

When I finally reach my living room, I saw my partner in business Nate Richard and he brought along too his brother James Richard.

"And what do I owe this pleasure of having you two?" I rolled my eyes as I sat across from them in my arm chair

Nate only laughed at my statement while speaking.
"Why do you always have to be so grumpy Mr. grumpy?"  He said while his eyes hold amusement and before I can speak for a comeback to him, his eyes turned into a serious "business" eyes.

He spoke. " Sorry for barging in to your house in this early morning. I came here for an important reason. The Elite Company are challenging us for a higher income and higher projects that are sold each months."

He spoke with anger and irritation. Well I can't really blame him. The Elite company is ruled by a man named Eric Ty. He is known for being a skillful and dangerous man in the business world. He will kill any one who dares to test him.

I met him before when there was a meeting between the Ceo's. He was tall, but not as tall as me. But he was really large like he was in a gym every minute. Everyone are scared of him. But not me.

He can scare me all he wants but nothing can work for me. He's just all the muscles. But not like me. I've got the looks and brain.

I didn't know that I've been smirking for what like when Nate called my name.

"Dude, you're creeping me out. Why are you smirking? Ah! I know. You've got another slut in your bed last night are you?"

I didn't know why I did it, but something in me snapped when he said that.

For a minute he was just there sitting in the sofa in front of me and next he was out of breathe because I was blocking his breathe by holding his throat in the wall.

James who was with him stand up and reached for me.
"Dude what's wrong with you?! He's only joking man! Let go of him!"

I didn't notice that Nate is clawing my arms because he is really out of breathe right now. So finally let go of him.

Nate coughed hard after I realized him from my hold.
"Dude, what is wrong with you?!!"

I sighed as I ran my hand to my hair making it messier that before.
"I'm sorry man. I didn't did it on purpose. But.. It's just that.."

I hang my words in the air as I can't explained the happiness that I felt every time I thought of My little angle.

There must be something in my eyes that made Nate jumped from the floor and hugged me.

"Oh man I'm sorry! Well you didn't tell me that you've finally found your girl you idiot! When can I meet her dude?!" He finally let go of me and faced me with his smiling face.

"She's-

I was cut off when someone behind me started tugging my pajamas. I looked down and smiled lovingly at her.

It was Margo who was tugging my pajamas. She looked beautiful while in her white sundress,then I remembered that I was not the only man in the room. I rush to get her and hides her from them. She was shocked from the sudden move that it made her squeak.

She shrieked in my ear " What are you doing! Let me down!"

I chuckled as I whispered in her ear "You naughty little girl. Why aren't you in your bed in this time"?

I felt contented when I noticed her shivered in my words.

"Uhm.. It's because.."

We were again interrupted by a cough. Coming from my friend.
"Uh, excuse me? We're still here! And Heath, why don't you introduce me to this little angel here?"

I chuckled when I saw her pout when she was called little by Nate. I brought her down and introduce her.

"Margo, this is Nate. My partner in business. And my very ugly friend."

Margo chuckles before extending her hand to Nate.
"Hi I'm Margo. It's nice to meet you Mr. Nate.."

She was blushing when Nate kisses her hand instead of shaking it.
"It's a pleasure sweetheart. And please, call me Nate."

He winks while letting go of her hand. I then get Margo to stand beside me. He shouldn't kissed her hand.

Nate laughed "Such a caveman."

"Well, it's rude that you wouldn't introduce me to your angel would you Heath?" James spoke while looking at Margo

I rolled my eyes as I introduce him.
"Angel, this James, Nate's brother."

My angel nods while she smiles at him shyly.

James smile at her too with his full set of teeth. Wow. That's the only time I've seen him smile. He's always cold to everyone even to me and to his brother. So it's really a surprise to see him smiling fully.

I can see that Nate was surprised too by the looks on his face.

The time passed as we discussed about what will we do about the Elite company. And after that Nate and James finally said goodbye to us.

But before they left, James looked at Margo for the last time like he wants to bring her home with him. When I saw that, I gripped Margo's shoulder closed to me while glaring at James. James saw it and smirked before finally getting out of my door.

I didn't want him near my angel. I can't trust him being alone with her. I imagine of different scenarios in my head and it made my blood boils.

I was driven away by my thoughts when a little hand touches my cheek.
"Are you okay?"

She looked beautiful. With those worrying eyes that looked at me. I didn't know what could I've asked for more.

I smiled while I hold both her hands before saying.
"I am now."

She's mine. And no one is going to get her from me. I promise that.
