Race: Hylian, though he is of Kokiri descent.
Appearance: Kander has dark green hair that is never properly groomed, so it's kind of shaggy. He has a pale complexion and a well-built figure. His most distinct feature is the difference in his eye colour. His right eye is a yellow/orange colour and his left is a silvery blue.
Personality: Kander is a good-hearted person who means the best for those around him. He's easily flustered and often gets nervous, blushing in almost any situation. He loves to help those around him and hates to get in the way of anybody. When he was younger, Kander found trusting people hard, but as they began treating him well, he grew into a trusting and kind person.
Skills: Kander has uncanny ability with a spear- he's also very strong.
Backstory: When Kander was a child, he lived in a small village with his parents and his younger sister. They were a poor but happy family, and they worked with the families around them to survive. One day, the twin witches, Kotake and Koume attacked the village. Kander's parents escorted their children to a cave near the village and returned to try and save those stuck in the attack. Kander's sister, Minnaya, hid in the back of their cave, crying, while Kander guarded the entrance.
In an explosion of fire and ice, the village was gone, and Kander's eyes were forever scarred, with one eye reflecting Koume's searing flames, and the other reflecting Kotake's freezing ice. As a result, he became colorblind.
The surviving villagers were taken to a safe haven, but there weren't enough supplies to support everybody. In order to save the others, Kander took it upon himself to leave the group and live on his own. He promised Minnaya that they would meet again one day, and he began living as a nomad.
Kander grew strong in the wild. He developed a skill in using sharp branches as weapons, in similar fashion to spears. He never gained any magical abilities, despite it running in his family. After a few years, Kander revisited the spot where his sister had last been, only to find she had matured into a strong sorceress and had become the leader of a small tribe. Although Kander loved seeing Minnaya strong and healthy, he couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. Due to this, he declined her offer to stay with her and left once more.
Kander eventually settled down in Castle Town. He made friends with a good number of people there and had a regular inn room. Finally gaining a proper weapon, Kander went into the wild often, sometimes with other groups. He lead a nice life, but he couldn't help but always feel somewhat...empty.
Fears/Shortcomings: Kander, as aforementioned, is colourblind. He has a deathly fear of wildfires and heavy ice. Kander can easily get distracted due to his easily embarrassed demeanour. He often gets self-conscious due to his lack of magical abilities.
Other: He's often seen as charming.
Kander left Castle Town with his trusty spear in hand. The sun was near setting; he had lost track of time. There was still no reason to just drop his training, though. He could fight in the dark.
As he looked around, Kander saw a lone figure on a cliff, staring out into the falling sun. It was scrunched in a ball, clenching its knees endearingly. Kander decided to approach, just in case they needed anything.
"Uh, hi..." he muttered awkwardly. The figure stood quickly and turned around, looking apprehensive. Were they going to attack him?
