As Jim walked out of the door of his house, he let out a long sigh. He thought about how his daughter would manage this year without letting her grades slip because of her racing and practice. He is worried about Kayla starting high school without her mother. Kayla and her mom haven't been in touch since Christmas last year. Kayla looks just like her mother, Hannah. They both have a petite body, with bright green eyes, and silky, wavy, light brown hair. Kayla has Jim's nose and Jims manly hands. It hurts Jim every time he hears Kayla's laugh. It reminds him of the time he spent with Hannah. Jim wishes that he can do more for Kayla. Kayla is the only one he has left.
On his way to work, he stopped at a coffee shop. He walked in and ordered his usual."its Jim, right?" He turned around and he saw a small, petite woman standing behind him. "Um. Ya. Who are you?" Jim replied. "I'm Stephanie. I moved here yesterday. In looking for a paralegal spot, and that lady over there told me that your a local lawyer." She pointed to Mrs. Brooks. She is a librarian at a elementary school around here. "I'm actually looking for a new paralegal right at this moment." Jim replied. "Do you think that we could talk about the job if that's a offer?" Stephanie asked. "Let me get my coffee and lets go to my office to talk." "sounds good to me" Replies Stephanie.
