Lilia

My feet led me through this giant city that I lived in. The streets were almost empty, just a few coated people rushing through the probably cold season. It was winter. The ground covered with snow. The white only interrupted by the dirty footprints left by people hurrying from store to store. A scarf flew by and I looked after it. The wind made it dance and twirl. I lifted my hand and the scarf stopped dead in the air. It floated towards me. I snatched it out of the air and looked around. A few streets ahead I spotted a beggar, holding out his nearly blue hands to maybe get some Berry from passerbys.
I tried to tuck my white hair behind my ear but it was too short so it fell right back into position. My head shaking I became visible and walked towards the beggar. As he saw me, he looked utterly confused. "Aren't you cold, little Miss?" I shook my head, my short white hair dancing in the wind. "I seem to have some defect, I can't feel the cold nor heat.", my voice flew towards him. "Here, you need it more than I do.", I smiled and gave him the scarf. "Merry Christmas." He smiled at me. "God bless you, child!" "Do you have nowhere to go?", I asked carefully. The beggar laughed and shook his head, a sad expression on his face.
"I own a house here tho I don't really need it. Would you like to spend this holy evening at my house?", he looked really surprised at my offer. He wanted to decline but I just shook my head. "Please, I insist. You need the warmth." He couldn't deny that.
I extended my pale hand towards him and pulled him up. "My Name is Lilia, pleased to meet you.", I said to the man in rags with a new scarf. "My Name is Carl, thank you so much.", he smiled warmely. "But you look so cold it sends shivers down my spine. I mean doesn't it affect you in any way?", he looked at me, rubbing his arms for warmth. I looked down at my green jumpsuit. It only covered one shoulder and was as long as a hot pants. I shrugged and lead us towards my home.
I opened the door, keys clanking. The first room we entered lead to a kitchen, a bathroom and the living room. I sent him into the bathroom, telling him to take a shower so he could warm up. He hesitated but since I already headed into the living room, he went in. As I started a little fire in the fireplace, I heard the shower turn on. Next, I made a soup and draped some cookies on a plate and prepared the dining table.
I had a Christmas tree in the middle of the room, decorated and all so I lit the candles. When I had lit the last candle, the shower turned off. A few minutes later, Carl appeared in the doorway to the living room. I was in the kitchen, getting the soup. When I entered the living room, I saw him crying, as he looked at the tree, the fire and the cookies. "Please, sit. Here's some soup.", I smiled and served it.
