That's not me! Or is it?

It was hard not to laugh at his shocked expression, as he felt me passing through his flesh. But once I had landed, his face only showed anger. "What are you?", his voice not even trying to cover his disgust. I shrugged. "Dead."
I turned around, walked out through the door and turned around one last time, to give Kid an unreadable look, wooshed my hand through the air and let the door slam shut. My hands started to shake and I stumbled through the next wall, into a tiny room with cleaning equipment, where I sat on the floor, eyes wide. What the hell had I just done?

I wasn't myself when there were dangerous people around me. It's as if my powers take over my body, making me look so much more badass than I actually was. I gripped my short hair and pulled a little bit, trying to calm me down. Didn't really work so I shoved my hands in my hair and massaged my skull, leaving my head look like a giant white birds nest. One shake of my head made my hair fall back down. "Aaargh... ", I screamed as silently as possible. I had annoyed one of the pirates I had fangirled for back when I was alive. Well, I still did. Fuuuu.
Once I had calmed down a bit, my fear and anxiousness turned into fangirling. Damn, he looked even taller than on those posters! Clenching my fingers in front of my mouth, I poked my head through the door. Literally through. A pirate hushed by, saw my head and started to scream like a baby. Shocked, I pulled my head back. Was I that ugly? I pouted, as someone ripped the door open. "Are you really still here?", a low growl could be heared. My smile was not insecure, as I thought it must have been. It was steady and more of a flashing of teeth than anything else. Then, I vanished. Kid looked right through me. "Don't play around, I know you're still here!" I flew through the wall where the poor pirate I had shocked just a moment ago stood.

Reaching a hand towards him, my soul was stuffed into his body. It felt dirty. He screeched a little but then I had full control. Kid turned towards me. "What did you screech for, did she poke you or what?", the sarcasm was uncanny. "Not really, his body feels a bit weird, that's all.", I replied with the funny voice of the pirate. Kid just looked at me. "What?" I had evoided eyecontact but now I looked up. "Nothing.", I grinned and walked off. This was so weird... "What the hell happened to your eyes?", Kid roared behind me. I snickered and left the pirate who collapsed like a marionette whose strings were cut. "Is that you, witch?", I heard Kid rumble before I flew up, onto the deck. Looking around, I came to the conclusion that there were too many people around, so I floated my way even higher to the lookout. There sat a fat pirate, monitoring the horizon, as best as he could in the darkness. I sat down next to him and became visible.
