Miss Impossible with Mr. Wrong!

Chapter 7

The trip continued for 7 more days where we went up to the Gir mountain which has 10,000 stairs where arjun helped me throughout the way up and we had a race while coming down.
Went to somnath temple which is famous for its "shivling" (an idol of god Shiva) .
Enjoyed alot which made me sick and then came back home after about 10 days.
Days passed by and we completed our 9th and stepped to our 10th grade.
School life was going perfectly alright with having great friends in contact and one of the best schools in our town.
Oh! By the way I was in a girls school so the fun we had was mind-boggling!
Friends in my life continued to tease me by saying Rahul's girlfriend.
I continued my days by hoping that someday he'll surely come back with a bang in my life.
But slowly and gradually days passed with my hope coming down and down.
But I didn't stop hoping until that day came which was probably the hardest day to live.
One day around December end when I was preparing for my 10th boards and suddenly my phone beeped at 10:30pm which had a message on whatsapp of khushi who is my cousin 11 months elder than me and a really good friend of Rahul.
The message said ' I have a bad news for you '
' What?  ' I replied.
' Rahul is in love with someone! '
A drop of tear fell on the screen which made the word 'someone' magnified.
'OK'was the only thing I could write and kept the phone aside on silent mode and was about to start crying when mom called me out for dinner and I had to go.
After dinner usually I used to wake till late night and study but that day I went startigh on bed and started crying.
Don't know when I slept off and woke up at 5:00am and started crying again.
After about 1 hour I called up khushi and asked her about exactly what had happened and how did she knew about Rahul being in love with someone.
She explained everything to me and I kept crying on phone.
'Rahul feels for a girl and he told me this himself yesterday while I was talking to him'
These were the words I was thinking about.
Don't know why but after this I called up arjun and told him all this without making him realise that I cried almost throughout the night.
He just kept listening to me till I finished saying everything.
He said " I always told you that he's not the one you should be hoping for."
I didn't say anything.
"okay forget it! Funny now he's out of your life! So now I can propose you with my whole heart and having all rights reserved. Sooo.  Will you marry me? "
With a disgusted feeling I said "This is not at all a joke.!"
"You think I'm joking? "
"I don't think you're joking. But I know that you ARE JOkING!" I said while forcing my voice on the last two words.
"Listen! I think now it's high time you should focus on your studies and show him that even you can live without that bloody bastard!"
"Hmm" I said realising that he's right.
"so now. Take your time for some 2-3 days. Get over your breakup. And just concentrate on your own life and let him go to hell with anybody he wants. "
This discussion continued about 45 minutes in which he kept screaming the words concentrate, study, life, etc.
And At the end the only thing I could say was "Thank you so much!" while thinking how lucky I was to have such a great and slightly annoying buddy.
After about 5 days of continuously thinking about my life I started studying really sincerely thinking that I'll surely score just to make Rahul come down of his pride of being a handsome guy.
This revenge was feeling which really helped me out to concentrate and days passed by studying and talking to arjun every Sunday's.
And then a time came when Arjun needed my help badly.
