Miss Impossible with Mr. Wrong!

Chapter 2

My friendship with Arjun is quite weird.. Because since childhood we use to fight for each and everything and that made me hate him like hell.!

I clearly remember the day when I first time thought about Arjun as a good and caring guy!

It was 14th of January 2011 when we went to a one day picnic with our families and about 50 more people.. The whole day we enjoyed playing and dancing and so while coming back home everyone was tired and slept in the bus.. We were about 11 years old then.. There was no more seats left so I had to sit besides Arjun dis heartedly.. And then I slept off without even knowing when.. After about 3-4 hours of sleeping I woke up and found everyone around me sleeping and then suddenly I found myself sleeping on Arjun's lap and his hand on my head.I woke up with a sudden jerk which made Arjun wake.. And then in a sleepy voice he said "Don't worry you go to sleep I'll hold your head so that you don't fall down due to the shaking bus!" And he did the same. I slept off and he was holding my head with his palm so that I could sleep properly.

That was the day when we started talking and became more than friends but less than lovers..

And after that day I found him more wired than I ever thought..

After some days it was the month of February 2011. On a fine Sunday Arjun and I met in the temple at night and we were talking about our crushes and ex's. He asked "I'm sure you must be having a boyfriend".

I said " why do u think so?"

He said " which means you have one!!???"

I said " No, but my friends tease me with guys name"

He said "Great, then tell me the name. Who's the one who took my best friend's heart.!"

I said " stupid! It's nothing like that. We're just friends and you know him very well"

He said " shitt! Miss Srishti Mondal was blushing some seconds ago!!!! Who is he?" (with a wicked smile and an eyebrow up)

I said "But first promise me that you'll not tease me please! "

He said " okay! Pinky promise"

I said " He's Rahul"

With a big open mouth and eyes broader he said " RAHUL GHOSH!!!! Are you serious!? You like him?!!!"

I said " Did i say I like him? Jesal teases me saying Rahul Rahul. But we're just friends"

He said "shut up! Don't lie. I can see those cheeks turning pink.. The only girl I know who is half tomboy is blushing which clearly means that she's in LOOVVVEEE!!!!"

I said " shut up! Rahul is just behind you. If he hears all this then he'll stop talking to me and I'll loose one of my good friends. So please stop this nonsense.!" (with a little blushing smile) "and yes! I'm not in love. Okay?"

He said " so when are you going to propose him?"

I said " Are you mad? I said I'm not in love"

He started singing " srishti is in love! Srishti is in love"

And this way a year passes where I couldn't confess that I had a soft corner for Rahul and Arjun got a perfect match which was Simran.. And then came 2012 with lots of surprise packages.!!!!
