Leonard saw James and went forward. He kicked him making James fall forward as his legs came out under him.
"Leonard! Stop, I say!"
Leon screamed dark magic and James winced his ears pulsing but he understood the magic. He called for the dark.
"Leon wait!" The king said.
"There is no waiting to be done you will be handed to Morax."
"Morax will doom us all." James said.
The doors to the throne slammed open and the dark came. James pushed Leon off and sprinted back.
"King!" James said startled.
"James you have my word go now!"
"Father!" Leon said hurt.
James sprinted and Leon went after him. The kings face turned in surprise.
"Well, well, your majesty. I see you have noticed..."
"How dare you turn him into a dark."
"You always knew he was meant to be one but never seemed to call." Morax grinned.

James was tackled down by Leon and James cried out as they collided.
"You piece of scum!" James cried out.
"You have made Morax angry."
"You..." James said wide eyed.
It was clear to James and he used all his force against him with no other alternative.
He sent a strong wind and Leon was pushed back. He quickly began to create a portal when a vine pulled him back. This was not a regular vine. It cut threw his flesh. He screamed as it tore threw his shirt into his chest. He waved a hand and the hall of the castle turned into a jungle of man eating flowers. One move and they would wake up.
James remembered how his father had sunk the floor beneath them and willed to do the same. A flower opened up and went straight to James's face. His back hit the floor of a cave and James made the portal going back to Aestas.
