the bell rang and my science teacher walked into the classroom.
"good morning class today we will be starting on the human population project that i have been talking about (I actually had to do a project on this). I will let you work with partners."
I looked over to Brianna and gave her a weird face. We are always partners. She started to giggle.
"instead of having you pick partners with the same person you usual are partnered with I decided to make a list with your new partners"
I looked over to Brianna again and pretended to have a gun with my fingers and shooting my head. I usually get partnered with the worst people who never do their work and i end up having to do it all. She started to read off the list.
"Brianna L and Chresanto A" I looked over to Brianna and I saw her eyes widen. Chresanto's is one of Jacob's friends. They are both pretty much a like. They are shy and super smart, but they seem like they can get girls.
The teacher continued to read the list.
"Jacob P and Corinne M" my eyes widen just like Brianna's except I was glad. Brianna started laughing with her hand over her mouth. I never was partnered with Jacob! Oh crap why do I feel nervous. He looked over to me and had a faint smile. I started smiling at him too.
Jacob's POV
I was partnered with the prettiest girl in this class, actually the whole school. I know I'm going to embarrass myself in front of her. I got to stop acting like a loser. After the teacher was done with the list we all got up and started walking to the computer lab. I was going to go next to her and start a conversation or something, but she was walking with her friend. I was looking down at my shoes until I ended bumping into her when she was opening the door.
"Oh I'm sorry" i said to her
"It's ok" she said with a smile
It was my opportunity to start a conversation. "So, I'm glad you're my partner." i said looking down
"yeah, i'm glad too" she said and smiled
I smiled. "We seem like we are going to make a good team, with us both being smart."
She sat in front of a computer station and i sat next to her. The teacher started to pass out the packets for the project. I saw Corinne skimming through it.
"Since I wont give you much time in class, you will need to make time for both of you to work on the project whether it's after, during free period, or anything you guys can think of", the teacher said.
I started to look through the papers.
"So, do you want to come over my house, or do you want me to go to yours" Corinne asked me. If I go over to her house I know I will embarrass myself.
"Is it ok if you come over my house?" I said
"Sure, today after school? she asked
"Yeah, I'm not busy or anything so you can come over anytime. Here's my address" I said, writing down my address and handing it to her.
The bell rang for our next period.
"So, i'll see you later" she said
"Ok, bye" i said and smiled. She smiled back and walked out. D-mn, I just love seeing that walk
Corinne's POV
it was after school and I was driving to Jacob's house. I was hoping to go over his house instead of mine because I wanted to see how his house looked, plus my house is a mess. I was looking for the number of his house. D-mn, all of these houses are huge. I would love to live in this neighborhood. I kept looking until I found the right number. I parked my car, got out, and rang the doorbell. I waited a couple of seconds, until his mom answered the door.
"Hi, you must be Corinne" she said with a smile
"Hi, It's nice to meet you Mrs. Perez" I said, smiling back
"Well come in. Jacob is upstairs, i'll get him for you"
I walked into his beautiful house and sat down on the couch. I can hear his mom yelling his name for the bottom of the stair well. She then had to go upstairs to see what he's up to because he wasn't coming downstairs. Maybe he just couldn't hear. After a couple of minutes, I saw him walking in the living room towards me, scratching his head.
"I'm really sorry I was taking a nap" He said with a chuckle.
"It's ok its no problem" I said. He was wearing a white wife beater shirt and gray sweatpants. I could see his muscles through that shirt. I bit down on my bottom lip, admiring his perfection
"I'm leaving now Jacob" I could hear his mom say, opening the door and leaving.
"She always has somewhere to go. Let's go upstairs so we can work on the project" he said. I followed him upstairs to his room. Wow, his room is neater than mine. He sat on his bed, opening his laptop. He looked at me and patted the space on his bed right next to him. I sat over there and put my bag down next to my feet.
"So where should we start?" he asked, but I didn't answer. I was too distracted looking into his eyes. I never really seen him without his glasses. His eyes were perfect. I couldn't stop staring at them until-
"You ok, Corinne?" he asked me
"Yeah I'm sorry what did you say?"
"What countries do you think we should do?" he asked
"Oh, well I was thinking we could do France as the developed country"
"Ok, i was doing some research and Mexico is a developing country, so we can do that one"
"Alright"
...
It's been a half and hour and I was bored out of my mind. I was laying on top of Jacob's bed and I took out my laptop to do some research. It was super quiet. He was also doing some research at the other end of the bed. I laid my head on the bed, but it felt weird. Was Jacob looking at me? I turned my head the other way to see, and I think he was looking at my a-s.
I sat up and looked at what he was researching. Then I looked at his face. His eyes were still on the computer screen.
"Why don't you ever take off your glasses?" I asked him
He looked at me with a confused face
"I didn't mean to insult you, but without your glasses...you have nice eyes"
I reached for his glasses and looked into his eyes once again. It's like they were hypnotizing. He started to lean in closer to me, and that's when my eyes widen. He placed his lips on mine and took hold of my waist. I placed my hands on his curly afro and we started to kiss. I've never kissed anyone like this in my life. There was just so much passion, and his lips were so soft. He laid his back against the wall and I sat on top of him and we continued to kiss. He slid his tongue inside my mouth. I started to rub my hands against his chest and he let go of my lips and started to smirk. I bit my bottom lip and he started to leave kisses on my neck. I started to moan quietly. We finally stopped and looked into each other's eyes again.
"Um...I have to go" I said
i quickly grabbed my and laptop and ran downstairs.
"Wait" i heard him say, but it was already to late. I was out the door.
