Chapter 29

-Your Pov-

The next morning i woke up early and instead of going back to sleep i decided to get out of the bed. Dan was still asleep on the large bed that we are sharing this week.

The night before, i passed out not long after we've started watching the movie. Don't really know why to be completely honest.

Anyway, i didn't get a text from Sam. I really shouldn't care, should I? It's not a big deal, I was just expecting him to say hi at least.

I was about to make breakfast when i heard someone walking into the kitchen, i turned around to see a sleepy Darcy.

"Good morning, sunshine" i smiled at her. She smiled back weakly, scratching her head.

"Good morning" she replied.

"What do you want for breakfast, Darcy?" i asked

"I don't know.." she answered still half asleep

"What about pancakes?" i smiled

"Yes, please!" she jumped scaring me a little

"Alright" i chuckled "You can go to the living room and do something there, or you can stay here with me" i added

"I'll go play with my toys in my room" she smiled and ran off leaving me alone in the kitchen

-Time Skip-

After i finished making breakfast for the three people in this house (including myself of course) i decided to wake Dan up.

I walked into the bedroom only to see him looking through my phone.

"Uh what are you doing?" i asked looking at him with my eyebrows furrowed

"Oh-uh s-sorry" he said looking down and putting my phone on the bedside table

"It's okay.. Um- mind if I ask you why were you looking through my phone?"

"U-uh.. I'm sorry it's just.. I saw you with this taxi guy yesterday and you both exchanged numbers so..." he trailed off

"You could've just asked about him? I have nothing to hide from you, Dan" i replied quite annoyed

"I know I know.. What I did was not right, i'm sorry. You know i'm a jealous person.." he apologized

"It's okay, i'm not mad. Just know that you can ask me anything, i have nothing to hide" i smiled and sat next to him, wrapping my arms around his torso

"Yeah, okay.." he hugged me back "I smell pancakes" he whispered after a short silence

"Exactly, get up or you won't get any" i told him walking out of the room

"Coming!"

-Time Skip; One week later-

The past week was not very eventful. We stayed inside the flat or just walked around the park with Darcy most of the time. 

I'm not going to lie, it was fun. Darcy is like a little angel, so calm and happy all the time. I know Dan enjoyed staying with her and looking after her just as much as I did. Maybe even more. I got really sad when i had to say goodbye to her, that was yesterday. Louise got back and we had to go back to our flat.

Sam and I keep in contact. We decided to go somewhere this week, as friends of course. I'm really looking forward to it, i know Sam is a great guy, and it would be nice to have another close friend.

Now I'm sitting on the sofa, drinking my tea and scrolling through tumblr. I heard someone walking into the room and sitting beside me.

"Hey, Y/n?" it was Dan

"Yes?" i asked putting my laptop aside still drinking my tea slowly

"Remember how you said i could ask you anything?" he shifted uncomfortably 

"Yeah, what is it?" i answered 

"Well, all i want to know is who the hell is that taxi guy" he told me now looking into my eyes

"Alright" i said easily. If he wants to know something i'm not going to hide it. "Ask anything"

"First of all- what is his name?"

"His name is Sam" i replied simply

"Okay.. When did you meet?" he asked again

"Literally the day you saw us in the taxi"

"Right. Do you guys keep in contact?" 

"Yeah, we talk through messages sometimes" i answered

"Are you guys planning to meet anytime soon?" he kept asking me curiously 

"Actually, yes. We're planning to go somewhere this week" 

"Is it going to be like a.. date?" i saw him getting jealous more and more every second

"Stop it, we're just friends. I'm your girlfriend, Dan" i said looking straight into his eyes "He's just a friend, Dan. I love you and nobody else" i told him and placed my lips on his, kissing him softly.

"I love you too. Just.. Be careful, okay?" he had a worried expression on his face

"I will, don't worry" I pecked his lips once more and stood up with my now empty mug 

"I want to play a horror game" i said randomly 

"Wha- okay. Um, which one?" he asked standing up as well 

"Until Dawn?" i asked with a playful smirk on my face

"Alright" he said scared already

And that's how the day ended. Just playing horror games until two in the morning and then being scared to go to sleep afterwards.
