NEXT DAY (Monday)
I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I rolled over and turned it off, I jumped out of bed and went strait into my bathroom. I brushed my teeth then put my hair up in a donut bun. I put on my black three quarter tights and my white work shirt. I made my coffee and drank it down with ease.
DING
*1 NEW MESSAGE*
I walked over to where my phone was and unlocked if. The message read: Hey Rhiannon- how are you? I was wondering if you could pick me up from my place today and take me too work has my car still isn't working. From Liam xx
I send back: Hi- I'm good thx. You? Sure I'll be at your place in 15 . Make sure your ready! :)
I grabbed my things and jumped in my car. I drove over to Liam's place when I got there he was already waiting outside for me. He got up from his seat and came over to my car opening the door he sat down and said
"Thanx for this"
"No problem" I replied
We drove off in awkward silence.
"So about last night" he said trying to break the awkwardness between us
"Yeah" I said looking at him
"Well you see I really like you and I know that we haven't known each other for a long time and all but it was nice of you too say yes" he said
" yeah well you know it's nice that you asked me, but don't you have a fiancé?" I asked
"Wait what!" He said back with a confused look on his face.
"Aren't you getting married?" I asked
" NO! Why would you think that!?"
"I don't know! That Friday when you walked into the restaurant with a women, I assumed you were engaged because she has a ring on her wedding finger."
" ohhhhhhhhhhh" Liam said
" what?" I asked
" That girl you saw me with is my sister and she is engaged." He said
" oh ok, so your not cheating on anyone ." I said
" No! Why would I! The only person I have feelings for in this world is you, and only you"
He lent over and kissed me on the check.
" Ok well I guess if were telling each other about how we feel than I guess I should tell you that I like you too." I said
He looked over at me and smiled. He placed his hand on mind and left the there for the rest of the trip. Once we arrived at work we both went our separate ways Liam working upstairs and me working downstairs. It was finally time for my break, I knew that Liam would be on the same break time has me so I went upstairs to see if he wanted to go for lunch.
"Hey, Hey, Hey" I said knocking on the door to the upstairs function room
"Sup" Liam replied.
"So want to go for lunch" I asked
"Yer sure just give me a few minutes so I can clean up a few more things" he said
" Sure, do you need any help?" I asked
" no I'm good" he said
After 5 minutes he was done. We walked out if the restaurant over to the cafe around the corner.
" Table for 2?" asked a waiter
" Yes please" said Liam
"Right this way" she said
We walked over to our table and sat down.
"Would you like drinks to start off with?" asked the lady
" umm yes please, can I please get a coke?" asked Liam
" yep sure and you miss?"
"Um can I have a peach ice-tea with ice?" I asked
" Yep ok, they'll be out in few" she said while putting the menus on the table
LIAMS POV
We sat there in awkward silence not knowing what to say. I was thinking in my head about what happened this morning. She said she likes me back. Should I ask her to be my girlfriend? What if she's not ready? Am I taking things too fast? All these thoughts were running through my head when someone spoke.
"1 coke and Peach Ice-Tea" spoke the waiter
"Yep" right here" said Rhiannon. "what would you like to eat?" Asked the waiter
" can we just get a large bowl of chips to share" I said
" ok sure, it'll be out shortly" said the waiter.
Once she walked off once again me and Rhiannon sat there in awkward silence, then Rhiannon spoke
" so when are we going out to dinner?" She asked
" I was actually thinking tonight" I said
" yer sure that would me great!" she said
"Good, so I'll pick you up tonight at 5.30pm sharp" I said
" Yup sure! I'll give you my address" she said
She pulled out a pen and note pad from her bag and wrote down her address. Handing it too me I smiled to myself and started thinking about whether to ask Rhiannon to be my girlfriend or not.
