Burnt To The Ground

Two teenagers were driving home one day, it was getting dark and they knew they wouldn't make it home that night, they needed a place to sleep. While they were driving they noticed a little house by itself surrounded by lots of land. The teenagers parked near the house.

The boy got out and rushed towards the house while the girl stayed behind. The front door opened as the boy stepped onto the porch as the girl had just gotten out of the car, an old couple came out. And the teenagers told them why they were there. The old couple invited the teenagers to sleep in there house.

When the teenagers woke up they thanked the old couple for letting them stay. As they walked out the door the boy left a white envelope with 20 dollars inside to thank them for the stay.

The two were getting hungry and stopped by a breakfast shack for a quick meal. As they ordered the teens talked to the waiter about where they had just come from. The waiter stood there in shock. "That can't be possible that house burnt to the ground 15 years ago with a old couple inside, they died and nothing was left." The teenagers looked confused when the waiter finished his sentence.

After breakfast the teenagers rushed back to the house to find nothing there but piles and piles of ashes. In all the ash the boy saw one little white object. When the boy got out of the car to get a closer look, he found a white envelope laying on the ground covered in ash and dirt. He picked it up and opened it and took out 20 dollars.
