Three years ago the second space race was the only thing people talked about. America and France were racing to get to Pluto first. America was on the verge of winning when, there was a... malfunction in the shuttle. As they passed Jupiter the auto pilot failed. The passengers were in their cryogenic chambers. They flew off course falling into the icy rings of Saturn. The shuttle smashed into a comet causing a domino effect destroying the rings of Saturn and letting out the poisonous gases all around the galaxy. The gases surrounded earth and mixed in with the atmosphere making the earth a disgusting yellow. It was impossible to go outside unless you were an immune or had an oxygen tank. Two twins Ruby and Alexander were home and waiting for there parents to come home from work. Ruby switched on the news and saw what happened and screamed. Alex came running in and heard what happened and immediately called their parents. "Alex we can't make it I love you tell Ruby that keep her safe" their mother whispered. Tears streamed down his face. The twins were in there own. All alone.
