Ruby's POV
I can feel my heart beating harder and harder. Tears are streaming down my face. I've never seen Alex this serious before. Something back there. Something. Changed him. No. That's not possible. "Where are we going?" I yell out. "Safety" Alex mumbles. I don't understand what's wrong with him. I turn around. The town. It's gone up in flames. I start to feel my legs give out. I've never run this fast for so long before. I trip and fall to the ground. "Alex help!" I cry. He picks me up and puts me on his back. He starts running. In the distance I see a forest with a nice cave. Once we get there everything goes downhill. The cave is a bandit base. We try to negotiate. "Please were only kids" I say. "We can help you" Alex pleads. I see a bandit walk up to me then everything goes dark.
Hi. Just a little note I know I don't use punctuation correctly I do it to add pauses to create suspense. So yeah. I hope you enjoyed!
